Organizing the 52nd Balkan Championship is a big challenge," Klakor said. He thanked the Federation, the Ministry of Sport, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and especially the Municipality of Tivat “for helping the club print a new page in the history of Tivat, JK Delfin, sailing in Montenegro and Montenegro itself.”

25 August 2019 - The Bella Boka project has had a good start this week. The idea to revive the tradition of using waterways in Boka Kotorska for the transportation of citizens and tourists, which has been almost forgotten during the past decades has received a warm welcome in the bay, both from guests and natives.

The solar vessel Elettra and hybrid Graziana as part of the Bella Boka project started their trips on the routes Herceg Novi-Tivat-Perast and Perast-Kotor this Tuesday and the first impressions are more than satisfactory, says the owner and general manager of Bella Boka, Riccardo Bonetti for TMN:

“I am very satisfied how it has started and the people who are using our boats are very happy, especially with the route Tivat – Herceg Novi and Herceg Novi-Tivat. We have very good feedback from the people, who have very good comments about their impressions of the connection between the two municipalities. Every day we have more people and in the following days, we will make better promotion, especially to the local people. We use our two boats to test how to connect Boka Kotorska in the best way.                                                                                                                                                             At the moment we are using the bigger boat, Graciana, also for the ride to Kotor, but it will be used to connect only Herceg Novi, Tivat and Perast in the final project, but at the moment we have included two boats and one boat is working with the small boat, full electric working in the area of Kotor municipality. With the bigger, Graciana we sail on a longer distance. I will check the best way to connect Herceg Novi, Tivat, Perast and Kotor. We will make the best solution, advised by the comments of our passengers.”

Graciana and Elletra will also be available to connect Bokelian municipalities and the lovers of sea routes during the winter: ”We intend to work during the winter also, but we will reduce our time-table and adapt it, for example, to transport students to school, people to work.

At the moment we are not planning to do any private agreement, such as excursions for tourist agencies, this is a public line. We are only doing public transport with very low prices for all people, so the trip from Tivat to Herceg Novi costs four euros and Graciana can take up to sixty passengers. Since we have just started, there have been some situations with the times and routes. We also have to adjust the time table. This is a theoretical time table, because we have traffic in every port. We have reservations for our place, but especially in Kotor, for example,, it is very, very hard to have the place, because there are so many boats. Then you have to wait, and it’s not a good situation, it practically happens every day.”

The Bella Boka project - Sustainable water transport by solar trimarans in Boka Kotorska has been established to positively influence the problem of congestion in road traffic, especially during the summer season.plovi

The total value of this project, unique in the Mediterranean, has been €4,259,000, while co-financing through the UNDP project for Low carbon tourism in Montenegro amounts to 150,000 euros.

The project is very significant, because it helps reduce the level of harmful gas emissions, including CO2, and offers passengers a truly exciting and inspirational experience. It was important to have a good idea like this, but as Ricardo says, it needed people to make it come true.

19 August 2019 - The Sports and Recreation Centre, with its accompanying sports facilities, will be built in Tivat, over the next two years, which will contribute to the increase in the number of athletes in that city and to position the city as a sports and recreational destination. This was announced by the Mayor of Tivat, Sinisa Kusovac, on the occasion of the International Karate Seminar held in that city, at which the five-time Karate Champion Rafael Aghayev from Azerbaijan was the lecturer.

"This kind of seminar contributed to getting us in the position to start building a sports complex in Tivat in the next two years. On this occasion, we have already made the decision on the purchase of a certain complex around the Župa Sports Hall, with the aim of building a Sports and Recreation Centre, with accompanying sports facilities,” said Kusovac.

According to him, the basic idea of the guide is that, in addition to Tivat being branded and having a culture at an enviable level, “sports should be a branch that will contribute to the greatest number of athletes' arrivals, and position the Municipality of Tivat as a sports and recreational destination.

"Apart from being a nautical destination, it should be a sports destination as well as a cultural destination," Kusovac said.

He said that this was supported by the next session of the Municipal Assembly, which is scheduled for tomorrow, and at which, he explained, a decision will be made on the purchase of four thousand square meters of land within the Župa sports complex.

"This complex will be rounded up, will have a much larger number of squares, and in the coming period, with the work of architects, a new sports hall, a new sports and recreational center with all facilities will be built at this place," Kusovac said.

He said that the leadership of Tivat Municipality will endeavor to build an indoor swimming pool in that city as long as the spatial planning documentation permits after a certain time, "so that it will be an enviable destination, where the arrival of sports clubs will contribute to the recognition of Tivat in this field."

The most trophy karate player of all time and five-time world champion, Rafael Aghayev, who is a lecturer at the two-day international karate seminar, said that he was in Montenegro for the first time, stating that he would like to come more frequently in the coming period.

"I'll be here for two days. We have two training sessions each day, and today will be another, third training. We know your team very well, we are rivals in competitions, but we are not enemies. After the competition, we are all friends. I want your team to become a world champion, "Aghayev said.

Previously, in the Municipality of Tivat, a reception was organized for Aghayev and the most trophy Montenegrin karate players.

The International Karate Seminar, organized by the Mawashi Club 2015 and the Karate Federation of Montenegro, is attended by around 200 karate players from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Albania.

Nina Labus, a make-up artist from Rome, who spends summers in Boka Bay, tells us the story of her entry into this popular profession, related to the brilliance of the film industry:

“I work as a look maker. In recent years, it is a profession, which has started to advance, because the intention is to unite the knowledge of makeup - not just beauty, or fashion makeup, which is used for beautification, but also totally the other side of stage makeup, where characterization is done, where we have scars, beards, moustaches, and we also do hair, so that is where the hair goes with that character.

For the last six, seven years, one person has been doing all this, with assistants. The size of the project depends on how many people work - the more actors, the more workforce. ”

Nina has been spending summers in Tivat for 25 years: “I spend at least a month in Tivat in the summer. It has made a lot of progress in recent years, I like how everything is tidied up and how it works on landscaping parks and the city in general.

Porto Montenegro is a special part of the city, which I like… In comparison to the years when my family came here, I think in ninety-two, it is a huge difference. New town! Although, I see that my husband and my friends, who come from Italy, prefer the old part of the town."

Nina has worked on more than twenty films so far. As a girl, she chose and completed management studies in Belgrade and Paris:

"It was the nineties in our country ... I went first to Paris, where I graduated in 1995 and never returned to Belgrade. I also had a somewhat adventurous spirit and fate took me to Florence. While I was studying in Paris, I hung out with the son of the famous writer Antonio Tabucchi, who kept calling me to Florence. When I went to Florence, I liked it and stayed, and then love took me to Rome, where I have lived for twenty-two years now. ”

Thanks to one love, our make-up artist arrived to Rome and later found another love in Rome:

"Something like that. I got married to my current husband, who is Roman, ten years ago. If someone asked me when I was 18: Would you like to live in Italy, or in Rome, that was never my goal. I dreamed more of other parts of Europe - Amsterdam, London ... When I came to Rome, I fell in love with the climate, since it is warm, the sea is twenty minutes away and of course, the charm and beauty of Rome, since it has such structures, history and culture. Every day something new is discovered ... When my friends and relatives come, then I am their guide through the city. In three, four days, the main can be toured, but Rome still has so much to show. The centre is huge.”

Nina especially wants to tell her story about how she entered the world of makeup and glamour to young people: “I never thought of that either. I was maybe too young and didn't see myself in management at the age of twenty-one. Then in Rome at twenty-four I graduated from a school of makeup, which immediately gave me a way and a profit. It went on gradually, I did not immediately enter the film world. There were also fashion shows, shoots with photographers, but when, after 4, 5 years, I got into that first film project, where I was in charge of our entire section - reparto, I felt that that part of the world belonged to me. "

Charming and in good shape, full of energy, with cute "French" r in pronunciation, the make-up artist does not hide her age: “Today, at the age of forty-five, I work in the film world, where I have progressed. In addition, I became a maestra, a teacher in my environment. I teach about make-up and hairstyles at a private Academy in Rome. ”

How much did she make friends with famous actresses, stars and film personalities in general:

"The world of actors is different, it's a mondo aparte, as the Italians would say, a world unto itself, unlike ours. I work and collaborate with stars such as Maria Grazia Cucinota, Asia Argento, however I look to maintain that professional relationship. I don't want to be a personal make-up artist. It's a figure in my business, usually it's the lead actor, and then some weird dynamics can be set up. I prefer to be in charge of the whole movie and not to go too much into the intimate world of people. "

In addition to Italian films, Nina has worked in a number of international projects, which have taken her to China, Argentina and other distant countries:

"That's the beauty of my job, which has taken me to different continents. In Buenos Aires, we made a movie about Maradona, so we went to his neighborhood where he grew up ... In China, we were a month and a half in Chengdu, which is the third largest city, at least in western China. We toured Italy all over, Paris, across European countries… Last year I did an international project with Canadian director Ken Scott. There were Indians, French, Belgians ... In these co-productions, usually part of the film happens in Italy, in Rome, and they usually shoot in the center of Rome - the Vatican Dome, Spaniard Square and I was the main and responsible for the Italian part of the filming. "

The last movie she worked on was “Piccirida con piedi nudi nella sabia” - Girl Barefoot on Sand, directed by Paolo Licata, with Lucia Sardo and Marta Castiglia.

Although it is not easy to enter and stay in the world of film makeup and the seventh art in general, where connections are paramount, Nina advises young people to be patient. As a sign of encouragement, she adds that she entered this world without anyone. Volere e potere! If we want something, it is indeed possible. It takes time, and nothing happens with the magic wand…

14 August 2019 - The construction of Boulevard from Jaz to the Tivat Airport (reconstruction of the Adriatic Highway) will start next year. This project will considerably improve the conditions of this section. In summer it is often jammed, with little movement on the roads. The project will cost around 26 million EUR and the construction will take around two years, reports Cafe del Montenegro.

“The tender will be invited at the end of September. By the end of the year, we will know the contractor,” said the Director of Transport Administration Savo Parača.

The development of tender documentation for the contractor is following the procedures established by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Boulevard will be 16 kilometers long and Parača added that the Regional Water supply system has joined the project. Simultaneously with the construction of boulevard, the extension of capacities of the water supply grid will be well underway.

“The regional water supply system joined the project because it uses the loan granted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. That project is worth between 10 million euros and 12 million euros. We thought it would be much cheaper and faster if we joined these two projects together. Everything has to be done according to European standards,” concluded Parača, using the opportunity to announce another important project.

“Complete reconstruction of the thoroughfare from Kamenovo to Bar is planned. The project is in the final phase. The tender procedure is going to be initiated in autumn,” stated Parača.

Art in Croatia and its cultural connection with Montenegro, especially with the area of Boka Kotorska and Tivat will be the subject of the next exhibition in Summerhouse Buća in Tivat.

Tivat Museum and Gallery continues its art program, worthy of the attention of the professional and wider public, which began last year with the exhibition "Towards Nature", it has been announced from this house of art.

It encourages the maintenance of a cultural manifestation that aims to educate the general public about modern art in Croatia, as well as its relations with Boka Kotorska.

A special opportunity for this in the newly renovated and decorated Tivat Gallery, situated in the Summerhouse Buća will be provided from 16 August to 6 September at the exhibition "The Art Correlations of Tivat and Zagreb".

The works of three renowned visual artists will be presented then, which through extremely mature and very current approaches to painting expression confirm individual relationships to the world in which we live. The artwork of Zagreb painters Lea Popinac (1981) and Pavle Pavlovic (1983), as well as Momcilo Macanovic (1966) from Tivat, will be presented to the audience.

All three artists work in oil painting technique, which they use in different ways, expressing figuratively (Macanovic and Pavlovic) in the pursuit of realistic or objectless. (Popinjac).

It is worth pointing out that the visitors will be able to get an immediate glimpse not only individually into their works, but also with a collective insight investigating whether they complement (and how) their expressions when they are put together (as is the case in this collective exhibition).

The exhibition, organized by the Museum and Gallery Tivat, will open on Friday, August 16 at 9 pm. Jelena Bujišić, director and curator of the gallery, in professional cooperation with curator Nevenka Sarcevic from Zagreb will participate in the event. This art event and the stay of two painters in Boka Kotorska is supported by the Municipality of Tivat and Vice President Ilija Janovic.

We want the Tivat audience to recognize the interest and value of these cultural events for both the art scene and the city of Tivat itself, it is concluded in the announcement by Museum and Gallery Tivat.
