August 23, 2018 - Based on the recommendations of the expert commission of ICOMOS (International Council for Monuments and Memorial sites), the removal of self-grown plants from the Fortress Forte mare has started. This is one of the first steps taken by the local government to help the fortress get itself on UNESCO's list of protected cultural assets. The job is entrusted to the Mountaineering Company from Danilovgrad and the job will last five to six days.
