After more than 11 years, Predrag Bošković is leaving the function of president at ŽRK Budućnost.
The Minister of Defense in the Government of Montenegro has already hinted at such an ending, although this could have been anticipated even when a new law on sports was announced, which forbids politicians to be in clubs and federations.
Bošković came to the head of the most successful Montenegrin club on December 16, 2006, when he succeeded Budimir Stanišić.
During his mandate, the biggest achievements in the history of Montenegrin handball were achieved - two titles of the European club champion, and at Budućnost a generation was made that brought the European gold and Olympic silver to Montenegro.
Bošković resigned a year and a half ago to the position of the President of the Handball Federation of Montenegro, but this was necessary for another reason - the candidacy for the vice-president of the European Handball Federation.
The new president of ŽRK Budućnost will be elected on Monday, March 12th, when the emergency assembly of the club is scheduled.
