Montenegro is a beautiful country to visit but not the easiest choice for vegetarians. Grilled meats are the standard of local cuisine along with the traditional dried ham we call 'prsut'. However, there are still some lovely non-meat dishes to be discovered here.

A former fishermen’s village, Rafailovici (2km from Budva) started attracting thousands of people about 15 years ago. Today, it’s probably the most crowded place around Budva, and that’s why I’d recommend avoiding it in the peak season. But the early summer days are perfect for walking along the narrow promenade or enjoying a fish plate at one of its few restaurants.

The landing of the "Airbus A-319" by the Belgian company "Brussels Airlines," which was welcomed at the Tivat airport platform with a traditional greeting, marked the official start of airline traffic for this company - a member of the Lufthansa Group with Montenegro.
