July 7, 2018 – The Administration of Kotor has launched a new cultural program for summer 2018 named Open Kotor Squares, allocating 20.000 euro for this purpose. The concept of the program is to provide a space for professional and amateur artists for open performances to the public. With this initiative, the Kotor Department of Culture, Sport and Community Activities aims to bring the arts of klapa singing, chamber music, choirs, folklore dancing, street theater and carnival back to the Kotor Old Town squares promoting good old cultural traditions of the town. From July 2 to September 9, you can meet local artists painting, playing, singing and dancing for you.

Everyone who wants to become part of the Boka historical era can join the KOTOR WALL QUEST to learn medieval crafts, fights, and costumes. Played around the downtown streets and popular in the east of Adriatic coast, briškula and treset card games are open for anyone to join.
