In the exciting finale, Buducnost Voli defeated Cedevita and remained in the game for the second place in front of the playoffs of the ABA League.

The guests were leading by eight points in the last quarter, but the final was overtaken by the current champion, who on the wings of Coty Clarke and Norris Cole directed the turning point and triumph of 80:78.

Clarke linked five offensive jumps and five points when the "blue" made a 12:0 series, and Cole, at 66 seconds before the end, scored a three-pointer for the lead of 80:76 and total delirium at Moraca.

Buducnost then ran into the win with five or more points difference but failed, so now it has the same number of triumphs as Cedevita (11), but also a weaker mutual-score between them.

The team from Zagreb ended a series of nine wins in Podgorica.

Earl Clark was the most efficient in Buducnost with 17 points, Cole added 14, Edwin Jackson 11, and ten each by Coty Clarke and Goga Bitadze.

Jacob Pullen was the most efficient for Cedevita (25), while Justin Cobs scored 18.

One of the oldest and most beautiful houses in Bijelo Polje, although crowded with the gray of various architectural buildings, is more than a silent witness of the past times.

In the soul of the rare united traditional town house in the center of the city, the unparalleled kindness and cordiality of the family of Mehmed Salemovic is interwoven, who, roughly nine years ago, with restoration, prevented it to collapse and preserved its authentic appearance.

That's why the house for years has been a favorite place for visitors and tourists to take pictures, especially in the summer. The house was visited several years ago by the then-Turkish ambassador in Montenegro Nijazi Tanilir with his wife. It is difficult to say whether it is more beautiful in the summer, with the windows lined with flowers, or under the snow that colors its rusticity.

Though restored, its appearance, particularly the hand-cut steep roof covered with shingles, resembles the appearance of about 170 years ago, which, as he came from Skopje, was found by Salem, which later became Salemovici.

Its authentic appearance is also witnessed by the picture of the house by the famous painter from Bijelo Polje Rasim Hadrović Polimski, which dominates in one of the rooms on the upper floor.

In addition, in Bijelo Polje, among the older houses are Gušmirović, Kajabegović, Kučević and Muzurović. Among them, only Kajabegović's house is restored.

The house of Salemovic has no foundation, and it is "attached" to the land with thick walls up to ninety centimeters. The lower part of the house served to tie the horses of various traders who came to the city, and thus an extra income for the family of the then famous tailor Ćerim Salemovic, Mehmed's father.

By placing a wooden floor and a window this space was turned into a kitchen and dining room, and at night it served as a bedroom. The ground floor is made of stone and the upper floor of loam, which gives the house a special charm.

Steep wooden stairs lead to the room on the first floor. Rooms with rugs are bordered by thick walls having a wooden door with a bolt.

Entrance to the rooms, especially the most prominent, with shingles ceilings with no paint, with old chandeliers, with tens of exhibits of various objects of that time, give the impression of a rich museum setting.

In that room at the end of the two walls, right next to the windows, is dominated by a huge "stretched" divan where there are " šilteta” - cushions, in front of which there is a “tegara”, which once played remarkable importance in the organization of life.

This charming portable bowl with a copper recess in which the cinder was placed, with a lid, beside the room warming, served to make coffee in cezve, and also to prepare the delicious dishes – as it is Dutch oven for roast meats. The sewing machine “Singer” from which the old tailor Cerim used to feed his wife and five children, is still used by Muradija. Old embroidered slippers complement the sewing machine with a silk shirt. Mehmed explains that it was not exactly established when the house was built, but it probably originates from the period up to 1850 and it is not known whether his grand grandfather built or bought this house. His father, Ćerim, and his mother, Lutva, daughter of the then famous imam Mustafa - Mujo Dizdarević, who served in the mosque, which was located at the site of the building “Elektroprenos” until 1957, invested their entire life in its repair and maintenance.

My father would say as a joke: "While other people and couples go to the sea, I keep my home on injections for 40 years," Mehmed says, whose father was the founder of the first tailor co-operative in Bijelo Polje. He says the idea of restoring the house came after his mother's death nine years ago, especially when the walls started "moving" down the street.

"It took me two years to find the board-shingle roof, while the ceilings - the hatchbacks retained the authentic look and were never painted. Even though the walls went to fall on the outside of the house, the craftsmen were skillfully able to stop their further movement and clamps - kept the original state," he said, adding that the works lasted for about a year.

Today, on the ground floor of the renovated house, live the sisters Muradija and Bisera, and sister Sanija often joins them. They do not mind that every so often someone rings the door-bell asking if they can take a picture, and sometimes to have a look inside. And with friendly hosts, old items, albums, cakes, among which is the popular “Tri leće” prepared by Mehmed's wife Edina, the man is easily carried away and forgets about the time.

January 22, 2019 - Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic dismissed claims from businessman and owner of the Atlas Group Dusko Knezevic who said in the previous days that he had donated €200,000 to Djukanovic in the pre-election period. But, he did not deny that Knezevic was the financier of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists.

In the first appearance before journalists since Knezevic charged him publicly, Montenegro's president did not deny that Knezevic gave money to the ruling party but rejected the amount reported by Knezevic.

Responding to the journalist's question about a video clip on which Slavoljub Stijepović, a DPS senior official took over the envelope from Knezovic with almost 100,000 euros. Why Stijepovic was heard at the Special Prosecutor's Office, Djukanovic did not want to tell how much money his party received from a businessman Knezevic. "If DPS is found guilty, the institutions will blame the party for it," Dukanovic said.

Knezevic's accusations that Djukanovic gathered businessmen in the election period and personally set tariffs for the Democratic Party of Socialists, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic denied saying "never mentioned anything likely in the talks". Djukanovic called Knezevic "a fugitive who manipulates and thinks he can escape justice and protect himself".

At Knezevic's claim that he is a hidden owner of a precious exclusive villa on Mount Gorica in Podgorica, Milo Djukanovic, the president of Montenegro denied the claimed. "Everything that's right around the house is that the owner of the facility has offered me to buy it, but I said that I did not think about it at this point, but I still do not rule out the possibility of buying it sometime," Dukanovic answered.

President of the Atlas Group Dusko Knezevic is in London, avoiding arrest within the Special Prosecution's investigation of his affairs. The Central Bank of Montenegro introduced a forced administration in two Knezevic's banks (Atlas Banka and Invest Banka Montenegro), and one was declared bankrupt.

Knezevic claims that the whole investigation against him is aimed at circling Circuits around Milo Djukanovic over Knezevic's property and business system.

"In addition to demanding and hard work, all the more visible effects of progress towards the European Union and membership in NATO are contributing to the quality of stability, which creates the space for us to dedicate ourselves unhindered to what society needs for sustainable development. In the year behind us, definitely a significant achievement of the Government is its economic policy, which continued to deliver excellent results in all the most important parameters. The growth of the economy in 2018 is impressive and equals 4.5% in the first quarter, 4.9 in the second, and in the third, it was 5%. The gross income per capita has also grown. In the past year, the unemployed were almost 10,000 less than in 2017. The unemployment rate has decreased by 4 percent from 22.1 percent, at the end of 2017. The decrease in unemployment has contributed to an increase in overall economic activity, strong economic growth, which has led to the creation of new jobs, that is, an increase in the number of employees by close to 7,000 at the end of 2018 compared to the same period of 2017 or nearly 12,000 in relation to the end of 2016"- said the Prime Minister at a meeting with the ambassadors of the member states of the European Union.

Prime Minister Marković emphasised that revenue collection in the past year was higher than almost 180 million EUR, that the budget deficit in 2018 was 3.5 percent compared to 5.7 percent in 2017, and that according to the data of the Central Bank Montenegro, the total inflow of foreign direct investments for the twelve months of 2017 amounted to 659 million EUR, and in the first 11 months last year, 747 million EUR.

Addressing the ambassadors of the European Union, the Prime Minister outlined the breakdown of the boycott of parliament and the beginning of dialogue within the parliamentary working group on electoral legislation as an important fact in the political agenda of the last year.

"I will repeat once again: dialogue can be conducted only in institutions, where only citizens' interests are promoted and democracy strengthened. In this year, the priorities of the Government are clear: primarily the continuation of obligations from the European agenda with an even more intense and better quality dynamics. Our goal is to open the only remaining chapter, Chapter 8 - Competition, meeting provisional benchmarks in Chapters 23 and 24 and reaching our internal readiness to close the chapters. We have already made progress in fulfilling obligations from the last benchmarks in six negotiating chapters," Prime Minister Marković said.

"Our goal is even more accelerated growth of the economy and creation of new jobs through the realization of capital investments, with foreign investments, further development of small and medium enterprises and improvement of business environment. To achieve this goal, the Government will launch a comprehensive action against the informal economy this year with normative interventions as well as strong and determined actions of tax authorities and law enforcement agencies. Certainly, we will continue to be active in the region in supporting neighbours and transferring our experiences from the integration processes. We will continue to justify the position we have in the process of joining the Union, within the region and as a member of NATO with our actions," the Prime Minister noted.

Prime Minister Duško Marković thanked the ambassadors for their engagement and contribution to the development of Montenegro and congratulated Romania for taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union.

"We know that during the presidency, Romania will have difficult tasks ahead, issues of the EU's multi-annual budget, Brexit, migration ... so we appreciate that among the priorities IS the issue of enlargement as well. We are confident that they will successfully face these challenges. I want to thank Austria, during whose presidency we have opened a very important Chapter 27 - Environment and Climate Change. Cooperation with the Three, which, in addition to Romania, includes Finland and Croatia, is an additional opportunity for us in the coming period, because all three countries are our friends and partners who understand the Western Balkans and Montenegro, as well as the significance of the enlargement policy," the Prime Minister stated.

The meeting was also addressed by the Ambassador of Romania to Montenegro, Ferdinand Findi, who spoke about the priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, as well as the head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Aivo Orav.

A family beach is a public, well-maintained and constructed bathing area that must be equipped and organized by the Ordinance on conditions to be met by well-maintained and built resorts.

An active holiday beach is intended for sports and recreational activities on the beach and in the sea. Depending on the type of activity, the active holiday resorts are divided into three categories: Sports, Recreational and Adrenaline Baths, Resorts for diving and a Kite/Wind Surfing resort. For each sub-category, the organization's special conditions are prescribed. It is particularly emphasized that the presence of licensed instructors for sports activities is mandatory in these beach resorts.

The Department for the Protection of Cultural Goods has accepted the initiative to establish the protection of assets – making wooden boats.

The Shipbuilders Workshop "Bokovac" pointed out that the conditions for further steps - the application of regulations for the protection and determination of the value of the goods - have been obtained.

Radomirka-Lala Bokovac from the workshop, which has been making wooden boats for decades, says that by insight into the legal documentation on cultural assets and heritage, it has been established that for the good "construction of a wooden boat" no valuation of cultural-historical value has been done so far. She stressed that the adoption of the initiative is a strong wind in the back "both to us and to all who deal with traditional shipbuilding".

"The production of wooden boats possesses the required traditional values, as evidenced by the preliminary results of the research findings. This act is of great significance for us and our decades-long work and effort in traditional wooden boat making, which is now for the first time valued in the right way. In our Shipbuilders Workshop, persistently, with love and much denial, practically without the right and sufficient assistance, we preserve and maintain the ancient knowledge and skills of the old craftsmen, shipbuilders, boatmen, and sailors. There are few of us in Bar, Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi, as well as beyond the borders of Montenegro" said Bokovac.

In March last year, three "baranka" - wooden boats with sails "born" at the Shipbuilder Bokovac workshop were sailed for owners from Abu Dhabi.

This was the first export to Arabia of a domestic final product made in Bar, not only in this era, and as was previously announced, the boats were produced by shipbuilders from Bar - Nenad Neno Bokovac and his father Pero.

"A wooden boat is a miracle for the culture and tradition of a naval country if that is properly valued. They need to be maintained, we have a few models, it is the national treasure of the state, and the history and the future of maritime affairs. Everything started with these wooden boats, and everything will end with them," says Nenad.

During construction, the builders use mulberry, mulik, acacia, and add some teak and mahogany.

According to Nenad's words, the mulberry is very easy when it is dry and strong and durable, so is mulik and thus the ships can easily last for almost a century.

Lala, Nenad's wife, points out that hand-crafted ships can be the bearers of the Montenegrin identity in the tourist sense and economic progress, and above all serve in the preservation of the tradition.

"The country without tradition is empty, people are reflected in the culture and tradition of their own country, and the main driver and push for tourism is culture and tradition, which are the things Montenegro is most proud of. Because of this, the act of accepting the initiative is a big step towards protecting small wooden shipbuilding, regardless of the origin area of a ship, a tradition that unfortunately becoming extinct on the Adriatic," said Bokovac.

The five-year-old wooden boats of Bokovci sparkle in the summer in front of the Hotel Regent in Porto Montenegro, where they are seen by passionate sailors from UAE. They were impressed by the boat's performance, so they came to Bar, where they were thrilled to see that Bokovci ships are traditionally built without epoxy resins. They ordered three "baranka" which have their mark. Pero and Neno say they do not know exactly how many boats they have repaired, but they point out that, not just in Bar, all the wooden ships went through their hands.

Neno says that the oldest boat which he repaired was "Markisa" anchored at marina Bar - which was 118 years old.

"The quality of a wooden ship in relation to plastic and metal is its stability on the sea, safety ... But its maintenance is difficult and expensive, so you do not have to take a wooden boat if you do not like to work on it. It is not just said that a man with a wooden boat is happy twice - the first time when he buys it and the second when he sells it," says Nenad Bokovac. He explains that there are two meanings of the word kalafat (shipbuilder), which is used both in Italy and in Croatia.

"It's the master who puts the tow between the boards, and the other - that's the chief master. So, that is my father Pero who started the ship-building in Bar in 1965, and today he supervises all the works on wooden boats and is dedicated to this, for someone a craft and for others -  art. Kalafat (shipbuilding) is a special type of carpentry, but it cannot be executed by only a carpenter," says Nenad.

It all began with a small Chinese teapot and an awakened desire from childhood - Ana and Nebojša Jasikovac opened the first pottery workshop in Niksic if we exclude the one from the Župa Monastery.

They say that they decided to see how long their "playing" with clay will last because Ana says that "clay is an unlimited fantasy, the space that you can shape for infinity."

"When I was little, my mother received a teapot from China, which was a nice shape with nice details. Even then, I thought if I could do something like that. But, as a man is not determined by his life but the circumstances and everything happening around him, my life went the other way, and the ceramics remained only a desire. And so, until the conditions were created. We made a green-house, started to grow herbs, I started, as a hobby, to collect pots and remembered my childhood wish. I figured why we would not make the pots to keep the plants in," says Nebojsa, an unemployed professor of history and geography. His wife, then also unemployed, immediately developed a business idea and waited for the right moment for its realization.

"I completed international relations and it is a little harder to keep a job if you are in the phase of starting a family. Whenever I went to a consultant at the Labor Bureau, I would say that we have a business idea for starting a pottery business together with the production of ornamental and herbal plants, that we are interested in this, and that we have the conditions. After the projects of the Union of Employers' Union 'Youth are the Future of Montenegro' and UNDP, the Association of Business Women, 'Enhanced in Business', I became more prepared and the idea developed further. In December 2017, the counselor invited me and said that there are unallocated loans and if I was interested, to call her the next morning. Since we were both unemployed, we were not keen on the idea of taking a credit loan. But my mother, who has been an accountant for 35 years, kicked us and told us that we have to take it because it makes sense," Ana said, who found a job in the meantime.

The firm "Herbs and Clay" was opened in February last year and we decided on the English name because the "unique handmade items are much more appreciated outside the region".

"We make pots, cups, ashtrays, bowls, trays... We need to master the technique of making cocktail glasses and jewelery. Ceramic jewelery is something extraordinary because the paint is made at high temperatures, blends with the material and is safe and durable. I am especially thrilled with soap dishes and even more when you put a handmade soap on them," says Ana.

They did not know anything about pottery until last year. They have been learning hard, although for that job, you can never say that you've learned everything. Ana admits that Nebojsa is a better student and that he is mostly stationed at the pottery wheel, while she is in charge of the final part of the work and aesthetics, decorations.

"First, we got the wheel, then the stove. As soon as the wheel arrived, I sat down to try it. It is true that this was not suitable because the stove had not been purchased yet, but I had to. I place a piece of clay, give it a spin and it starts to form a shape.. When you work, you hold a bucket beside you and put everything that is not good in it to reuse it. At the beginning I filled the bucket with 25 kg pot and later it was much better," Nebojsa said.

He felt most proud when he was doing an enclosed form, and Ana when they baked the first piece.

"It takes a long tie to get a ceramic item. You first create an object that needs to be dried, in the summer for a few days, in the winter for a few weeks. Then it is baked, at a temperature of 800 to 850 degrees. Then it is colored with pigments, or it is glazed and baked again, and the temperature depends on the glaze and color, and it is 1050 or 1250 degrees. If an erroneous step is taken in the whole process, you may find, after eight to nine hours of baking, when you open the furnace, there is only debris."

The small pottery workshop also has a greenhouse.

"In addition to spices and aromatic herbs, there are also succulent plants. We have a garden with vegetables for our needs, and there is always a surplus for sale. As these are non-chemically treated vegetables and herbs, it is not a problem to find a market to sell them."

January 21, 2019 - The Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi scheduled a meeting with the workers in the tourist business of the city. The topic of the meeting to be held on Wednesday, 23 January, will be the presentation of the marketing system and the creation of city tourist offer for the 2019 season with a focus on the events.

Director Pavle Obradović explained to Radio Jadran that the Tourist Organization prepares arrangements, which will make promo material in multiple languages and be forwarded to agencies in the region and Europe. Each registered accommodation provider in Herceg Novi will have his digital template, which will enter the data, offer and photos of the accommodation.

"We have already prepared this, so now we want to inspire providers to get started with that practice. When those for whom the platform was created start to use it, when we receive presentations of, for example, 50 apartments, we can group them as a proposal to the agencies. It will enable accommodation providers to get their contacts to interested parties who will be able to contact them directly and reserve accommodation," he explains.

For this year, the Tourist Organization plans to participate in tourism fairs, as well as to organize a prize game where users of social networks will share the photos of Herceg Novi motifs through their orders and thus directly promote the destination.

Although TO Herceg Novi plans to be more active in promoting city offer at tourism fairs this year, Obradovic said the focus is on digital marketing and countries with low-cost flights connecting to Montenegro. Activities are also ongoing to unify the entire destination offer, which will link accommodation facilities, restaurants and excursion, and tour agencies.

Selling arrangements for the Mimosa Festival is gsolid, he says. Hotel Palmon Bay expects guests from Macedonia, and there is interest from across the region.

"We contacted agencies from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro and forwarded the offer. We've also created a digital presentation with all the events, from where only one click leads to accommodation offer. Agencies can enter into direct contact with the providers of the resorts or apartments," says Obradovic.

TO Herceg Novi already forwarded materials on the tourism offer to many agencies in the region, while for the summer tourist season they will expand to the European market.

The Tourist Organization will present this system, along with a digital presentation, at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 23 January at 7 pm in the Great Hall of the premises of the Municipality of Herceg Novi.

Obradović invited all accommodation providers to come to the meeting and begin creating their offer with the team of TO Herceg Novi, who will visit the accommodation facilities to develop promotional materials and forward them to the agencies all around Europe.

January 20, 2019 - Ski Center Vucje near Niksic is a great ski destination in Montenegro if you are looking for a ski resort that will meet the needs of the whole family. Unlike the most popular ski destinations in Montenegro, the ski resorts Kolasin or Zabljak, where numerous facilities are out of walking distance, Vucje offers a program to enjoy for the whole family in one place. Once you arrive here and park your car, you will not need to use it again.

vucje 8Ski Centre Vucje has two ski slopes. Apart from providing experienced skiers with an excellent 1200m long recreational trail, Vucje is an attractive destination for your children who are not yet experienced enough on skis. The Ciciban track, 120 meters long, equipped with a baby ski lift, is located on a gentle slope that is ideal for the first skiing steps.

Ski Center Vucje employs 20 workers, who, according to the manager, Marija Lalovic, make a harmonious family dedicated to comfort, safety and the best atmosphere of all their guests. As one of the youngest ski destinations in Montenegro, Vucje has welcomed guests from Montenegro and abroad for more than ten years.

"Vucje is 20 km away from Niksic, at an altitude of 1300 meters. The motel has an accommodation capacity of 104 beds, organized in comfortable apartments and rooms, equipped with a bathroom, cable television, and internet. We, above all, offer the warmth and strive to make our services as good as possible, to make our guests feel satisfied. As for children and beginners, we have our ski instructors, which are available to guests throughout the entire ski season. Instructors are here every day from 10 am to 4 pm, and the instruction fee is 15 euro/hour, but our instructors stay longer with their candidates if needed. At this pace of training, for every child, three or four days are enough to learn the basics of skiing, which they need to continue to enjoy themselves in the snow."

The ambiance of the Vucje motel, service, and offerings follow the tradition of continental Montenegro. "As far as food is concerned, we try to offer our guests only old, traditional homemade dishes, Priganice, pies, Sarme. Since this year, we have been upgrading our offer with "Tastes of Vucje" Within the complex, we produce homemade sausages, bacon, ham, prosciutto, and even Kulen. All our restaurant guests have the chance to try our homemade produce," explains Marija.

vucje 7The winter tourism center Vucje developed gradually but with great care that every detail is in line with tradition. In addition to male and female Montenegrin folk costumes, in the restaurant and foyer area, you can see old pieces of furniture of a typical Montenegrin mountain house, among which the warmth and beauty of the fireplace built in the traditional style.

It is important to emphasize that the Ski Center Vucje meets the clientele with lower spending power, because accommodation prices, food, ski passes, and ski equipment are affordable and significantly lower than other ski resorts in Montenegro. The half-board price, which includes breakfast and dinner, is for accommodation in apartments 35 euros per person per day, while the cost of housing in rooms is 26 euros. For children under seven years old, Vučje offers a 50% discount, while for children ages 7-14 you are charged a 30% discount.

Ski schools of Niksic and Podgorica use the facilities of the ski center Vucje, often filling the accommodation capacities of the motel. So, remind it is necessary to make a reservation on time.

"We currently have three ski schools here, one from Niksic and two from Podgorica. Already on Monday, new groups of children arrive. Programs last for five days, and four nights. In addition to the ski school, an animator is on disposal to children and takes care that everything they are doing here is well-conceived. Children are the most thankful guests, we enjoy their pleasure being here," says Marija.

Asked if guests from abroad have discovered Vucje, Marija proudly states: "We are very pleased with the visit of foreign guests. Their number is increasing every year, especially from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia."

When it comes to Montenegro, the citizens of Niksic and Podgorica gravitate to Vucje, and in recent years there are more and more guests from the coast, from Bar and the towns of Boka Bay.

"In cooperation with the Niksic Tourist Organization, in recent years we have organized free transport of guests from Podgorica and the coast, who come to spend one day with us, enjoy the snow and the winter fun. The weather did not go our way, because even though there was enough snow, there were strong crowds that set off the opening of the recreational trail. Now everything is in function, so we can plan a one-day excursion in our direction, which we will inform the public in time," announced the manager of Ski Center Vucje, Marija Lazovic.

Apart from skiers, Vucje is also a popular snowboard destination. This year, for the fifth time in a row, this center will be the address of the great Snow Dance Festival - a snowboard competition, which traditionally brings together the best snowboarders from the countries of the region. In addition to enjoying their show, also this year during the three days of the festival the audience will enjoy performances of the most eminent names of electronic music, as well as many other features that the ski center team still does not want to discover. In anticipation of the details, see the part of last year's Snow Dance atmosphere.
vucje snow danceAs in previous years, the organizers will provide free transportation to Vucje from all the cities of Montenegro. Marija says this year, unlike the last year's edition, Snow Dance will be organized by late February or early March, to make sure that snow is enough to prepare challenging and dynamic snowboarding tracks.

Until then, consider Vucje if you have several free days to enjoy the snow. It's true that, besides the ski slopes and the Vucje motel, there are no other contents here, but that's more if you want to come here for a real vacation.
