19 August 2019 - The Sports and Recreation Centre, with its accompanying sports facilities, will be built in Tivat, over the next two years, which will contribute to the increase in the number of athletes in that city and to position the city as a sports and recreational destination. This was announced by the Mayor of Tivat, Sinisa Kusovac, on the occasion of the International Karate Seminar held in that city, at which the five-time Karate Champion Rafael Aghayev from Azerbaijan was the lecturer.

"This kind of seminar contributed to getting us in the position to start building a sports complex in Tivat in the next two years. On this occasion, we have already made the decision on the purchase of a certain complex around the Župa Sports Hall, with the aim of building a Sports and Recreation Centre, with accompanying sports facilities,” said Kusovac.

According to him, the basic idea of ​​the guide is that, in addition to Tivat being branded and having a culture at an enviable level, “sports should be a branch that will contribute to the greatest number of athletes' arrivals, and position the Municipality of Tivat as a sports and recreational destination.

"Apart from being a nautical destination, it should be a sports destination as well as a cultural destination," Kusovac said.

He said that this was supported by the next session of the Municipal Assembly, which is scheduled for tomorrow, and at which, he explained, a decision will be made on the purchase of four thousand square meters of land within the Župa sports complex.

"This complex will be rounded up, will have a much larger number of squares, and in the coming period, with the work of architects, a new sports hall, a new sports and recreational center with all facilities will be built at this place," Kusovac said.

He said that the leadership of Tivat Municipality will endeavor to build an indoor swimming pool in that city as long as the spatial planning documentation permits after a certain time, "so that it will be an enviable destination, where the arrival of sports clubs will contribute to the recognition of Tivat in this field."

The most trophy karate player of all time and five-time world champion, Rafael Aghayev, who is a lecturer at the two-day international karate seminar, said that he was in Montenegro for the first time, stating that he would like to come more frequently in the coming period.

By the end of this year, Tivat Airport will serve over 1 million and 300 thousand passengers, thus breaking the record so far. Airport director Radovan Maric told Radio Montenegro that Terminal 2, which was built less than a year ago, contributed to the reduction of crowds and increases passenger comfort.

According to Maric, the construction of the Terminal is only a transitional solution and he believes that a new airport should be built because of the increasing traffic.

“Tivat Airport was built in the middle of the last century. Then, one or two planes landed on a weekly basis, now there are over 60 planes a day," said Maric.

Traditionally, visitors were able to taste free of charge several types of “kacamak” and “priganice”, which were once again prepared by the best Kolasin homemakers.

The stands were, as usual, creatively designed but, according to the exhibitors, high quality is what distinguishes their products.

Stanija Cana Braunovic collects medicinal herbs in many Montenegrin mountains, but mostly in Sinjavina. In addition to recommending the use of several dozen types of teas, she shared with the visitors' tips on how to collect herbs.

"I have been at Sinjavina since April. In March, I was already picking up the coltsfoot and then the primrose arrived, which I was picking up in the vicinity of Zabljak. Violet is from Borova glava on Sinjavina, as well as verbena and hypericum. I also find many useful plants in Stitarica. It is important how we treat plant wealth. Plants should be carefully harvested and habitats not destroyed," Stana said.

Although this season was not the best for beekeepers, this could not be concluded according to the stand Milija Madzgalj from Mojkovac. In addition to honey, this beekeeper also offered candied fruits and propolis products to the visitors of Kolasin's Market day.

The Forest Administration intends to spend EUR 280,000 on afforestation in five Montenegrin cities.

Just over 460.000 pieces of black and white pine and spruce seedlings will be afforested for these funds.

The largest number will be afforested in the territory of Pljevlja - more than 330.000 pieces, while there will be 36.000 in Berane, 31.800 in Mojkovac, 30.000 in Bijelo Polje, and 26.400 in Nikšić.

This job also requires preparatory work, which involves the mechanical and manual removal of unburned wood and shrubs and collecting them in piles at a distance of 20 meters.

“The Health and Forest Restoration Measures Program prescribes measures and activities for the afforestation of burned forest areas for the year 2019 fall planting. Since afforestation activities need to be completed by the end of 2019, shortening the public procurement procedure for the submission of bids would save valuable time and be able to timely contract operations on afforestation of burned areas,” the tender documentation of the Management Board posted on the Public procurement portal states.

Those who apply for the tender must, among other things, submit the health certificates of the planting material, i.e., that it is of the prescribed quality - A class.

In October last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, i.e., the Forest Directorate, announced a tender for the afforestation of burned forest areas in the value of 200.00 euros.

This tender was for the territories of the municipalities of Kotor, Pljevlja and Zabljak.

The tender was won by the only joint bid submitted by the company from Niksic “Monteno Maks - nursery Vir” and “Taxus Forest Project” from Pljevlja.

The contract was signed in early November last year.

19 August 2019 - From the beginning of the year, the Monteput company, which operates the Sozina tunnel, collected over 6 million EUR from toll payments to use the tunnel Sozina, Cafe del Montenegro reported.

The total revenues from tolls for passenger vehicles amounted to 3,85 million EUR, while 2.2 million EUR was collected from other categories of vehicles.

"The total revenues from tolls at the Sozina tunnel amounted to 6.071.670 euros," the company Monteput announced.

The representatives of the company say that 12.080 vehicles on average pass through the tunnel Sozina daily during the summer season.

"We count that the summer season starts as of 1 June and until 13 August, a total of 12.080 vehicles on average have passed through the tunnel Sozina. There is no crowd at toll booths for most of the week, which means that passengers are waiting just a minute or two," stated the representatives of the company Monteput.

From the beginning of the year to 13 August 2019, 1,76 million vehicles have passed through the tunnel.

In addition, this company issued 230 smart cards from the beginning of the year, as well as 279 TAG devices that removed the need to pay the toll charges using cash.

When it comes to the investment in the tunnel, Monteput changed and put in place a new system of managing the tunnel, which includes protection against explosive concrete spalling with polypropylene fibres, detection of incidents and video surveillance.

18 August 2019 - The International Workshop for Wind Instruments continued at the Tivat Music School and will last until 23 August.

This 17th International Workshop is attended by 30 students from Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, as said from the NGO Ars Praesentia Boka Kotorska, which organizes workshops for wind instruments in cooperation with the Music School for 17 years.

Workshops are conducted for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn. Professors Marina Nenadovic - flute, Bojan Pesic - oboe, Veljko Klenkovski clarinet, Nenad Jankovic - bassoon and Nenad Vasic - horn work with students.

A saxophone workshop was held in the first part of the international workshop from 5 to 10 August, which ended with a concert at the Lustica Bay Complex.

The crown of this work will be the concert "Musical Conversations - Peca and the Wolf" - a symphonic fairy tale by the Russian composer Prokofiev, which will be performed as part of the Purgatorije Festival.

The story of the boy Peca, his game and imagination, the animals, wolf, duck, cat and bird, the concern and anger of Peca’s grandfather, the "courage" of the hunters, through the story of the narrator Dragan Laković will be presented by the members of the brass quintet of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra: Marina Nenadovic - flute, Bojan Pesic - oboe, Veljko Klenkovski - clarinet, Nenad Jankovic - bassoon, Nenad Vasic - horn and student of the 3rd grade of secondary school "Luka Sorkocevic" from Dubrovnik - Aleksandar Lazinica, on percussion. In addition to the members of the Philharmonic Orchestra pupil of the 3rd grade of Secondary Music School "Luka Sorkocevic" from Dubrovnik - Aleksandar Lazinica also participates in percussion.

Nina Labus, a make-up artist from Rome, who spends summers in Boka Bay, tells us the story of her entry into this popular profession, related to the brilliance of the film industry:

“I work as a look maker. In recent years, it is a profession, which has started to advance, because the intention is to unite the knowledge of makeup - not just beauty, or fashion makeup, which is used for beautification, but also totally the other side of stage makeup, where characterization is done, where we have scars, beards, moustaches, and we also do hair, so that is where the hair goes with that character.

For the last six, seven years, one person has been doing all this, with assistants. The size of the project depends on how many people work - the more actors, the more workforce. ”

Nina has been spending summers in Tivat for 25 years: “I spend at least a month in Tivat in the summer. It has made a lot of progress in recent years, I like how everything is tidied up and how it works on landscaping parks and the city in general.

 Porto Montenegro is a special part of the city, which I like… In comparison to the years when my family came here, I think in ninety-two, it is a huge difference. New town! Although, I see that my husband and my friends, who come from Italy, prefer the old part of the town."

Nina has worked on more than twenty films so far. As a girl, she chose and completed management studies in Belgrade and Paris:

"It was the nineties in our country ... I went first to Paris, where I graduated in 1995 and never returned to Belgrade. I also had a somewhat adventurous spirit and fate took me to Florence. While I was studying in Paris, I hung out with the son of the famous writer Antonio Tabucchi, who kept calling me to Florence. When I went to Florence, I liked it and stayed, and then love took me to Rome, where I have lived for twenty-two years now. ”

Thanks to one love, our make-up artist arrived to Rome and later found another love in Rome:

"Something like that. I got married to my current husband, who is Roman, ten years ago. If someone asked me when I was 18: Would you like to live in Italy, or in Rome, that was never my goal. I dreamed more of other parts of Europe - Amsterdam, London ... When I came to Rome, I fell in love with the climate, since it is warm, the sea is twenty minutes away and of course, the charm and beauty of Rome, since it has such structures, history and culture. Every day something new is discovered ... When my friends and relatives come, then I am their guide through the city. In three, four days, the main can be toured, but Rome still has so much to show. The centre is huge.”

Nina especially wants to tell her story about how she entered the world of makeup and glamour to young people: “I never thought of that either. I was maybe too young and didn't see myself in management at the age of twenty-one. Then in Rome at twenty-four I graduated from a school of makeup, which immediately gave me a way and a profit. It went on gradually, I did not immediately enter the film world. There were also fashion shows, shoots with photographers, but when, after 4, 5 years, I got into that first film project, where I was in charge of our entire section - reparto, I felt that that part of the world belonged to me. "

Charming and in good shape, full of energy, with cute "French" r in pronunciation, the make-up artist does not hide her age: “Today, at the age of forty-five, I work in the film world, where I have progressed. In addition, I became a maestra, a teacher in my environment. I teach about make-up and hairstyles at a private Academy in Rome. ”

How much did she make friends with famous actresses, stars and film personalities in general:

"The world of actors is different, it's a mondo aparte, as the Italians would say, a world unto itself, unlike ours. I work and collaborate with stars such as Maria Grazia Cucinota, Asia Argento, however I look to maintain that professional relationship. I don't want to be a personal make-up artist. It's a figure in my business, usually it's the lead actor, and then some weird dynamics can be set up. I prefer to be in charge of the whole movie and not to go too much into the intimate world of people. "

In addition to Italian films, Nina has worked in a number of international projects, which have taken her to China, Argentina and other distant countries:

"That's the beauty of my job, which has taken me to different continents. In Buenos Aires, we made a movie about Maradona, so we went to his neighborhood where he grew up ... In China, we were a month and a half in Chengdu, which is the third largest city, at least in western China. We toured Italy all over, Paris, across European countries… Last year I did an international project with Canadian director Ken Scott. There were Indians, French, Belgians ... In these co-productions, usually part of the film happens in Italy, in Rome, and they usually shoot in the center of Rome - the Vatican Dome, Spaniard Square and I was the main and responsible for the Italian part of the filming. "

The last movie she worked on was “Piccirida con piedi nudi nella sabia” - Girl Barefoot on Sand, directed by Paolo Licata, with Lucia Sardo and Marta Castiglia.
