- In June, we recorded 30% more visitors and collected about 70% of the residence tax. I would like to thank the owners of the private accommodation who regularly report the residence tax for their guests, but also I would like to stress that this is a legal obligation, that the tax should be covered by the guest and not the host. In return, the Touristic Board works are in favor of the accommodation capacities and economy, and that is why we plan various marketing activities", says the director of the Touristic Board, Pavle Obradović.
He also announced the new City Souvenir.
- The work of the Herceg Novi author, Alberto Barba, was chosen and we are expecting the delivery of 5000 city souvenirs. We have a reasonable agreement with all hotel owners to present and sell souvenirs at their receptions.
The tourist organization will support numerous cultural and artistic programs along the Herceg Novi Riviera this summer, Obradović said. Summer festivals begin on June 30 in Baošići, with the performance of City music and majorettes, as well as music group "Stari Kapetan" starting at 21h.
