Rafting in Montenegro
Rafting is an outdoor activity which usually takes place at a river with the ultimate goal being able to navigate through the water using an inflatable raft or boat. Montenegro is known as one of the most attractive countries for rafting - keeping in mind that the Tara River Canyon is the deepest canyon in Europe and second deepest in the world, right behind Grand Canyon in Colorado. During the summertime, continuous rafting tours for 130 kilometers are available, which puts this route among the most extended rafting tours of Europe. In Montenegro, rafting is available throughout the whole year and not just summer. The Tara River Canyon is a unique rafting canyon because of the nature that surrounds it. During rafting, participants can see wild animals, birds in their natural habitat, and even bears taking a bath in the river! Many rafting tours also include camping which usually takes place out in nature.
Canyoning in Montenegro
Canyoning is a unique experience that asks for both physical and mental strength. This sport includes conquering canyons and canyon climbing which sees more and more thrill-seekers up for a challenge every day. In Montenegro, many canyons are available and safely secured for canyoning, such as Canyon Medjurijec, Canyon Skrude, Canyon Ibristice and the most popular one – Canyon Nevidio. Canyoning here is more extreme than rafting or any other similar sport, so it is not unusual if the organizer asks for participants to be over 18, to be in great shape and health, and not to be afraid of heights. However, if you satisfy all these conditions, in most cases, the organizers (i.e. tourist agencies), will provide all of the necessary equipment for canyoning.

Kayaking Montenegro
This sport requires your condition and physical shape to be at a high level. Kayaking is the use of a kayak, which is technically a boat for one or two persons. It usually takes place in rivers, but it is also favorite among sea lovers. Physical strength comes as an advantage since the kayaker is supposed to paddle through water, maintaining both his speed and balance, so he does not fall. In Montenegro, kayaking found its place almost in every major river, or lake, and is also present at the seaside. If you are hoping to kayak with the help of a tourist agency, they usually provide all the necessary equipment, such as the kayak itself, paddles, inflatable swimming jackets and the like.
