September 2, 2018 - Within the promotional activities on the market of the German-speaking area, the National Tourist Organization of Montenegro organized presentations of the current tourist offer in two German and two Austrian cities, from 27-30 August.
Presentations of the tourist offer in Vienna, Linz, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf have been arranged, with the aim of expanding cooperation with existing partners and achieving cooperation with tour operators who have not yet had arrangements for Montenegro in their programs.
A representative of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro introduced the representatives of tour operators with the current tourist offer of our destination, opportunities for active holidays, cultural sights, new airlines, improved accommodation capacities as well as with the positive Montenegrin tourist trends. The Program of Incentive Measures implemented by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro was also presented. This Program includes the support to the marketing activities in the markets of Germany and Austria by covering part of the costs for promotional campaigns for Montenegro during 2018/2019.
Among the tour operators who attended the presentations in Linz and Vienna were „Columbus“, „Kneissl touristik“, „Reisewelt“, „Schopfel Reisen“, „Reiseparadies Kastler“, „FTI Touristik“, „Ruefa“, „Moser Reisen“, „Die Reiserei“, „Web Index Austria“, „Mondial“, „AFT travel“, „TUI Austria“, „Eurotours International“, „Joe Far tours“, „Ruefa“, „Biblische Reisen“, „Columbus“, „Weltbewegend“ and „Klug touristik“.
Presentations in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf were attended by some of the leading German tour operators: „Ikarus Tours“, „DerPart“, „Kretschmer Events“, „Thomas Cook“, „VIP Tours LTD“, „I'tur“, „Der Deutches Reiseburo Dusseldorf“, „Alltours“, „World Insight Erlebnisreisen“, „TUI Reisen“, „Eisebahn Erlebnisreisen“, „Holiday Reisen“.
Since the 21st of August, the online program "E-learning Montenegro" is also available to the agents of the German and Austrian market through the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro. The aim of the program is training of sales agents in order for them to gain the necessary qualifications and motivation to properly sell the arrangements for Montenegro. Attending this online course is free. The only condition is that a travel agent registers to get a username and password for accessing the program.
Active participants who successfully pass training and pass the exams have the opportunity to win three seven-day arrangements in the hotel "Splendid Resort & Spa" in Montenegro, which was provided by the strategic partner of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro Hotel Group "Montenegro Stars".
