On this occasion, the ship, which is 69,130 gross tons and is 264 meters in length, was visited by a delegation of Montenegrin hosts and attended by representatives of the Allegra boat agency, headed by owner Mihail Vukic, the chief executive of Port Kotor captain Branko Kovačević, border police representatives and the port captain in Kotor Bruno Brkanović.
They were welcomed in the central atrium of the ship-hotel, received by Commander "Marella Dicovery 2", Captain Džejson Ikiadis.

After exchanging plaques and gifts, where Ikiadis and other representatives of "Marella" announced the increase in the number of ship arrivals of this British company to Montenegro, there was a tour of the cruise organized for the visitors from Montenegro.
The crew of the ship is consists of many people from the former Yugoslavia. Thus, the chief barman is Montenegrin, the restaurant chef is from Zlatibor, and the guide of the ship - one of the managers in the hotel section of the cruiser, is a girl from Kumanovo, Macedonia.
"Marella Discovery 2" sailed in the spring of last year under the name "Legend of the Seas" in the fleet of the renowned US company Royal Caribbean International. The Americans built the ship in 1995 in France, and after 19 years of use, sold it to "Thomson," which also bought the twin of this cruiser, the "Splendor of the Three Seas."

On its 11 decks, "Marella Discovery" has a total of 918 passenger cabins, seven restaurants, seven themed bars, an entertainment center, a cinema, two swimming pools, a shopping center and a fitness center in which special attraction is the free climbing wall.
What is interesting is that on this ship, unlike all other cruisers where these spaces are strictly forbidden for passengers, during the voyage, passengers can visit all the rooms that would otherwise be inaccessible to them, so long as a guide accompanies them. They can visit the crew cabins, across to the engine room, and the command bridge itself.
This summer cruising season of the "Marella Discovery 2" sails every seven days. This summer, the British cruiser with the flag of Malta will come to Kotor every 14 days.
