September 4, 2018 - The first Japanese player in the history of Montenegrin volleyball has arrived. The new member of the Budva Volleyball Club is a 31-year-old technician from the land of the rising sun, Shin Imamura (185cm), confirmed Nemanja Zenovic, sports director of Budva. The Japanese player has agreed to play this season.

Imamura arrived in Budva through the agency manager of the former player from Buducnost, Bojan Milic, but also after more detailed information provided by our celebrated coach Veselin Vukovic, who has been in Japan for a number of years at JT Tanders from Hiroshima.

The former Japanese national team player played for Sakai Buyzerse from 2009 to 2015 and won the title in 2012. His European career began in the summer of 2016, in Sweden's Orukeljung, while he has spent the last season in Israel, in Hapoel Kfar Sabi.

Ivan Zvicer arrived in Budva and agreed to cooperate on a one plus one season. There are still waiting to sign the contract, because a release form from Buducnost is expected.

Thus, the newly formed Budva club has brought 10 players so far. Prior to Imamura and Zvicer, Jovan Delić, Nikola Radonić, Alen Didović, Darko Angelovski, Milos Milić,  Dejan Jocić, and former Budva Riviera players Dalibor Lečić and Spasoje Caković are now members.
