The Assembly of the Capital City Podgorica adopted the decision on utility infrastructure fee, as well as the decision on the utility infrastructure fee for illegally built facilities, along with two amendments proposed by the mayor of the capital, Slavoljub Stijepović.
The adopted amendments stipulate that the utility infrastructure fee will be decreased by 30% for residential buildings of up to 200 m², i.e. residential buildings of up to 500 m², according to the Capital. Also, the Decision on utility infrastructure fee for illegally built facilities and for one-time payments (paying the total amount of a fee within 15 days after signing the contract) will allow owners to exercise their right to a 15% discount off the full price. There would be even more discount of (25%) for illegally built residential facilities of up to 200 m² total net surface area, i.e. 20% for illegally built facilities of up to 500 m² total net surface area.
The amendments above will additionally decrease costs, and they clearly indicate that the Capital runs strict policy in this area, enabling the most favorable requirements for paying utility infrastructure fees for illegally built facilities.
The main goal of the Capital is to dispose of illegally built facilities and that citizens get a legal real estate with proper market value, according to mayor Stijepović.
