The civic opposition proposed to Democratic Front (DF) that common opposition’s candidate at the upcoming presidential elections should be former MP Mladen Bojanic, sources from civic opposition unofficially confirmed to CdM.
CdM learns that Mladen Bojanic is acceptable for DF.
“It’s a man who has proved his opposition activity. He has a political rating and we think he’s a good solution. We think that we will reach an agreement about Bojanic by the end of the day,” a DF source unofficially told CdM.
According to unofficial information obtained by CdM, DF is currently considering this option.
The civic opposition hopes to get an affirmative response from DF in order to start the campaign as soon as possible. They believe this is an opportunity to make an agreement and enter the presidential race and thus defeat the DPS candidate in 15 April.
“We left all the differences aside just to reach an agreement. The ball is in DF’s court. We think that Bojanic is a candidate who can achieve an excellent result. We hope that the deal is close,” the civic opposition sources told CdM.
