Davies congratulated Djukanovic on the election victory and the appointment of President and said that Montenegro has been a reliable partner to this international organization.
"Expressing satisfaction with the cooperation with all the institutions in Montenegro at the present time, Davie has been particularly proud of continuing partnership in all areas important for the further implementation of the reforms in Montenegro on the path to achieving its strategic goals," said the President of the Information Service.
Djukanovic pointed out to the invaluable contribution and the role of the OSCE in the process of Montenegro's integration. As key priorities after the end of the electoral cycles, the Montenegrin President noted the further growth and development of the economy as well as strengthening the state institutions and the rule of law. Djukanovic pointed out that Montenegro is ready to continue as a country that has gone further in the process of integration, and remains a responsible partner in the further promotion of the European values in the Western Balkans.
Djukanovic and Davies exchanged opinions about the developments in the region."They also talked about the cooperation between OSCE and Montenegro in support of the self-regulation process in the media as a precondition for improving professionalism in this area," the statement concludes.
