28 September 2018 - According to the Statistical Office of Montenegro, the gross national income per capita in Montenegro in 2017 amounted to 7.049 EUR.
Gross national income amounted to 4,387 billion EUR and the balance of primary income from abroad was positive and amounted 87,8 million EUR.
Gross national income is one of the central terms in the economy. It is the sum of all products and services produced and offered in a country in one year, taking into consideration taxes, subsidies and net incomes of all exported services.
In 2017, the real growth rate of gross domestic product amounted to 4,7 %.
Gross domestic product per capita amounted 6.908 EUR in 2017, whereas in 2016 it amounted to 6.354 EUR.
GDP in the second quarter of 2018 amounted to 1,078 billion EUR. In the same period last year, it amounted to 992,6 billion EUR. Real growth rate of GDP in the second quarter amounted to 4,9%.
