25 September 2018 - The local community of Igalo is satisfied with the tourist season and by this occasion, will organize a folklore tour, featuring eight cultural and artistic societies with over a hundred participants. This event, as noted by the organizers, is supposed to mark the successful summer season in this town.
According to the president of the local community Igalo, Zoran Savković, in cooperation with the Cultural and Artistic Society "Igalo", they are preparing a final manifestation of the Igalo Summer Festival in 2018, which will be held on Saturday, September 29th, where local and cultural art societies will participate.
"The event begins at 6.30 PM, at the plateau in front of the hotel "Light house", and all the way towards the Coast of Nikola Kovacević to the "Galeb". The central manifestation and presentation of cultural and artistic societies are planned from 7 PM at main walking path in front of the Post Office in Igalo," announced Savković.
He stated that the Cultural Organization of Igalo, as a co-organizer of the manifestation and cultural and artistic societies: "Zora Hercegovine" from Bileć, "Alatl" from Trebinje, "Jedinstvo" from Bar, "Zahumlje" from Nikšić, "Piva" from Plužine, "Boka" from Tivat and "Sloga" from Đenovići will participate at this festival of folklore and entertainment.
At the end of the program, around 10 PM, all participants of folklore groups will play "Užičko kolo", which will be developed along the walking path, which will be a real attraction, especially for tourists.
