17 September 2018 - The short feature film "A Head Full of Joy", written and directed by Branislav Milatović, will compete at of one of the biggest and most prestigious short film festivals in the world, the 24th International Film Festival in Drama, within the international competition segment.
The 24th International Short Film Festival in Drama takes place from September 16 to 22 in the Greek city of Drama. The festival is divided into two categories of competition, international and national, and the film "A Head Full of Joy" was selected to be one of 56 competing films out of over 4500 films submitted at the international selection.
The Drama Film Festival is one of the 15 European festivals that make a nomination for the European Oscars in the short film category, which will be held for the 31st time in Berlin this December.
The film “A Head Full of Joy” deals with the relationship between a psychiatrist and a patient in an unusual session, and on the other hand, it represents the universal story of a man of the twenty-first century who is often offered the “wrong door for the exit” from existential dilemmas.
The cast includes actors Slavko Štimac and Marko Baćović. The director of photography is Lazar Radić, producer of the film is Đorđe Vojvodić, executive producer is Danilo Milatović, and the film was made according to the motives of the story “A Head Full of Joy” by Ognjen Spahić.
This is the first project that was created within the production company Bitter Frames Production from Podgorica. The film was greatly supported after the public call by the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, and it was produced in co-production with the company Montenegro Art Production and Radio and Television of Montenegro.
