17 September 2018 - Herceg Novi, a city which has inspired many people from the world of art and literature, and one of Montenegro's most visited galleries, Josip Bepo Benković Herceg Novi City Gallery located in the Old Town, once again organized a rich and high-quality exhibition program.
On September 18th, the Josip Bepo Benković City Gallery will host the exhibition "Herceg Novi – To sam ja" (English: “Herceg Novi – That is me”), when photographers from Herceg Novi will present their work.
This is the second collective exhibition of photographers from Herceg Novi. Thirty-three authors will exhibit their works inspired by motifs related to Herceg Novi, and the exhibition will be opened at 7 pm by curator Jasmina Žitnik.
"Excellent cooperation with the authors was achieved during the last exhibition, and at the time we were hoping that there will be a better interconnection of the photographers from Herceg Novi, and that even more authors will be presented to the citizens of Novi in the future. Our main intention is the promotion of photography as a form of art and practice. We would also like to promote the authors - photographers who live and create in Herceg Novi or are related to our city," the Josip Bepo Benković City Gallery’s representatives said. They hope that the photography exhibition will become a tradition that will last for a long time in the future.
