09 August 2018 - The Luštica Fest is a film and a tourist manifestation, which will be held from August 11th to 15th in the village of Klinci. This is the fourth manifestation that aims to revitalize the village and this unusually beautiful part of the Herceg Novi municipality, which rarely has the opportunity to host cultural events.
In a beautiful and extremely attractive setting of the largest Montenegrin peninsula of Luštica, the festival is special due to ambiance where the films are shown – the port of the Church of the Holy Archangel Mihailo in Klinci, which saw many locals and guests over the years.
For this year's edition of Luštica Fest, the organizers of the Klinci Village Resort event, supported by the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi, provided five films created in the new millennium on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. This year's "Zlogonje" hit, and one of the most popular new alternative "Life by Moskri", created last year, as well as two titles, which are among the most important achievements of the Croatian recent cinema - "I am Sorry for Kung Fu" and "Kino Lika". In addition to them, there is also "Swing" - one of the most interesting road movies recorded in the area.
The screenings will start at 9:30 PM every day, the entrance is free, and the transport to Klinci is provided with a car that starts from Rosa a half an hour before the start of the films. The festival also has a humanitarian character. Voluntary contributions will be collected for the recovery of parts of Luštica during the last year's fires, as well as for the needs of the children's home Mladost in Bijela.
