08 August 2018 - Bedem fest has always been a festival that has gathered many generations by managing to get different high-quality artists on-stage. This time, with great interest from the audience, the star of the third day was Kaliopi Bukle.
The third night of Bedem fest was opened by the band KI, from Kumanovo, after which the Macedonian giant took over the scene and stayed there until midnight.
On its third evening, Bedem fest exceeded all expectations. The fort was full of countless visitors who witnessed a spectacle to remember when Kaliopi stepped on-stage. Her two-hour performance included all of Kaliopi’s greatest hits, and the audience was swept away and kept singing along with her. Bukle expressed great satisfaction with the opportunity to be a guest of Montenegro, especially Nikšić and has repeatedly praised both the audience atmosphere and the Bedem fest.
Macedonian pop diva and one of the best vocalists in the Balkans gave a performance with inexhaustible energy, which the audience fully followed and absorbed her incredible voice full of emotion. At the near-end of the show, the performers didn’t seem to have had enough of the euphoria, so they returned to bis, after which Kaliopi sang two more songs - "Crno i belo" and "Rođeni", which the audience loved and even lit several torches.
After the Kaliopi, the stage was taken over by the alternative band Obojeni program from Novi Sad, followed by the group Repetitor. Filip Ravić, better known as DJ Iron, had the honor of closing the ninth edition of the festival at the fortress.
The organizers are satisfied with the overall program, atmosphere and attendance of the festival. As they pointed out, more than six thousand people visited the fort during three festival days.
The jubilee 10 years of love, art and unique feelings of Bedem fest are, as announced on their official website, celebrated from 2 to 4 August 2019. The organisers encourage booking the best story written on the walls of the Bedem fort in Nikšić!
