07 August 2018 - The second day of the music festival Bedem fest, which has been traditionally held for nine years on the walls of the old fortress, was held on Saturday when the hip-hop band Beogradski Sindikat lit up the stage. The audience couldn’t get enough of their beat, and the organisers sold out all the tickets for the evening.
The winner of the partner Bunt Rock Festival, Sergio Lounge, opened the second festival night, while the audience that night had the opportunity to hear the new sounds from Nikšić's OFF DUTY band. This band is mostly on the home court and for the past nine years, they had the opportunity to perform several times on the fort.
"For years we have always been happy to respond to the call of Bedem Fest. We remember when it first began as one of the interesting ideas, and today it has grown to a large-scale festival and has become the prominent feature of Nikšić," said OFF DUTY. They think this year's concept of the festival arose in the right place and at the right time and that with that concept, Bedem fest has identified and pointed to the values that need to be nurtured.
With the audience's huge ovations, Beogradski Sindikat stepped on-scene around 10 PM. They greeted the Nikšić audience with their hit "Za sve moje ljude". Two torches, an audience that sang every word along with the Sindikat and the energy that cannot be described in words, marked the second festival night. It is obvious that the audience in Nikšić, after six years, was eager for the music that unique BS creates and performs because they tirelessly sang each word and unanimously called them out for bis.
Before stepping on the stage, Beogradski Sindikat said: "A crowd can expect a good concert tonight. A couple of years ago, we were in Nikšić, the atmosphere was great. This year on the fort, because of the intimacy of space and the vicinity of the audience, we expect an even better atmosphere. The audience will be able to hear old and the new songs. We chose songs that are good for concert performances, so we expect strong energy that will last from start to finish." And so it was. The energy was not lacking as the hits were lining up Za sve moje ljude, Dan za pobedu, Svim srcem, Neuništivi, Pravo kroz vetar, Sistem te laze and many others.
The band "Nipplepeople" passed the audience into a new dimension of electro-pop music. This band is widely known for the popular single "Sutra", and is characterized by a mysterious side that they say is their way of "putting the music at the forefront of the performance". Dedication to the audience is really something that put this pair in focus, so they went down to the audience during the performance, burnt torches and at the same time invited everyone to visit the festival tomorrow. The closing of the festival came from the Hungarian band Belau, which went on the stage about two hours after midnight and performed deep into the night.
