July 07, 2018 - The Podgorica Tourist Organization (TOP) has opened Tourist Info Points for this summer season at the most frequent locations in the city.
The Tourist Info Points are welcome centre kiosks for tourists visiting the city, Montenegrin and foreign alike. The Tourist Info Points’ multilingual staff has the task of distributing tourism and cultural information to the public which has been compiled and authorised by the Podgorica Municipal’s Office for tourism. Tourist Info Points are open during this summer season at strategic points throughout the city. At the Info Points you can find tourist and cultural information about Podgorica in a number of languages provided by the front-desk staff, distribution and sale of tourist leaflets and brochures, hotel information and bookings at hotels and pensions in the city, last-minute hotel bookings, as well as information and sale of tourist products.
The Podgorica Tourist Organization, which considers that existing benefits of Podgorica, like tourist sites, should be used for better promotion of the tourist image of the city, has opened several Info Points with the strategy of the promotion of Montenegrin tourism at the international and local level.
For this summer tourist season, the Tourist Organization of Podgorica opened three Tourist Info Points at the most frequent locations in the city: near the border crossing Božaj - at the restaurant "Troja", at the Podgorica Airport and the Bus station as well as the Railway station. In these locations, the info points will work every day, from 8 AM to 8 PM, from June 20 to September 20. Promotional material of the Capital City, National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, and other local tourist organizations and tourist industry are available to tourists at these points.
In addition, all tourists and fellow citizens can get the necessary service and tourist information as well as instructions on registering the stay of foreign tourists, at the premises of the Tourist Organization of Podgorica (at the address Ulica slobode 47 and Ulica slobode 30), every workday from 8 AM to 8 PM.
