April 25, 2018 - Podgorica will host the 13th International Book Fair from May 7 to 14, 2018. The motto of this year’s international book fair will be “Attention, reading can cause you to think freely. Readers’ children become readers themselves”. The organizers announced that this book fair would gather many different book exhibitors from countries all over the world.
The event will be held in the car garage of the Delta City shopping mall. As a novelty to this year’s book fair, alongside the Ministry of Education, the National Library of Montenegro “Djurdje Crnojevic”, as well as the National Radio and Television of Montengro, are among the essential organizers joining for the first time this year.
Also, this book fair will gather many different artists including photographers, painters, comics and sketch makers, so visitors will be able to enjoy not only a variety of books but also art. The literature that will find its place among this book fair will be mostly in the Montenegrin language or the languages of the region, but also, visitors will be able to buy best-selling books written in English. As a part of this book fair, a roundtable will be organized concerning the topic “Montenegrin librarianship – state and perspectives”.
