After a five-month winter break, the Palmon Bay hotel in Igalo was re-opened during the weekend. According to its representatives, it has entered the new season with a good visit of 250 guests, innovative offer and capacities and new managerial staff.
Chairman of the company’s board of directors Bozidar Draganic said that in addition to €13m invested in reconstruction so far, the Primorje Hotels & Restaurants company spent additional €500,000 only this winter.
“This winter we were focused on equipping multi-functional hall at the swimming pool. It is to be used for weddings, celebrations, various events, congresses and seminars. Only for the needs of its reconstruction and adjustment to the needs of the market, the company invested between €300,000 and €350,000,” Draganic said.
In addition, necessary corrections were made in rooms and common premises, worth about €200,000.
Draganic said he expected the swimming pool to be opened in early April if the weather conditions permitted.
