This activity is carried out as part of the implementation of preventive fire protection measures, it was announced today by the local government, reports Vijesti on March 19, 2018.
At a meeting of the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team held in December last year, the shrinking of paths and roads that are no longer used or are rarely in use that encircle settlements and represent access to the forest part of the territory was identified as one of the priorities.
The Communal company said that two larger trails were cleaned in Gošići, and it's getting close to finishing clearing the track in Mrčevac, i.e. Matijevići.
