28 October 2018 - The movie “Južni vetar“ (English: "South Wind"), directed by Miloš Avramović, will be premiered in Podgorica, in the cinema Cineplexx Delta City on Saturday, November 3rd. The official premiere will be attended by members of the authors’ crew and some of the actors.
Reflecting the “other side” of Belgrade’s men, director Miloš Avramović presented the life of a generation that did not personally experience the nineties, but the traces of the mentioned years that have left a significant mark on their lives.
Things are just beginning to make sense in the life of Petar Maraš, a car thief from Belgrade. He leaves his parent's home and moves into a new apartment with his longtime girlfriend Sofija. The crew he is a member of, led by the experienced “Tzar” is doing really well. There’s enough money for everyone and the police are off their backs. But all that will change when he steals the wrong car. That one reckless move causes an avalanche of events that will greatly affect the lives of those around him.
Avramović, who directed “Krojačeva tajna” (English: A Tailor’s Secret) in 2006, directed the movie from the script written by Petar Mihajlović. The director of photography is Ivan Kostić. Avramović himself is producing the movie, along with Zoran Cvetanović and Goran Šušljik, an actor and a producer, who played the main role in Avramović's first feature mentioned above. The production companies are Režim, Eye to Eye and Art Vista. The film is partly funded and supported by Film Centre Serbia.
The fantastic movie acting crew consists of Miloš Biković, Miodrag Radonjić, Dragan Bjelogrlić, Nebojša Glogovac, Miloš Timotijević, Jovana Stojiljković, Srđan Todorović, Bogdan Diklić, Aleksandar Berček, Hristo Shopov and Ivaylo Zahariev.
The film crew paid much attention to the music, which was specifically designed to complement this unusual action drama, signed by Bassivity and performers such as Rasta, Senidah and Coby.
