27 October 2018 - The delegation of Montenegro, led by Minister of Culture Aleksandar Bogdanović and Minister of Education Damir Šehović, is taking part in the 6th International Humanitarian Forum in Baku.
The forum was opened yesterday by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This year's forum under the theme "Shaping a New World and a New Humanity: Creativity and Human Development" is an opportunity for participants from around the world to try to respond to some of the current challenges. During his participation in the Forum, Minister Bogdanović spoke at the panel "Policy of Multiculturalism as a Factor of Stability in Society".
Montenegro represents a society whose historical experiences and contemporary relation towards ethnic and religious diversity can serve as examples of the intercultural harmony, Minister Bogdanović said, noting that the interethnic and interreligious harmony is an essential traditional characteristic of this region.
Baku International Humanitarian Forum is an event of famous representatives of political scientific and cultural elite of the world community including famous statesmen, Nobel Prize’s winners in the various fields of science and leaders of influential international organisations whose aim is holding dialogues, discussions and exchange of views on wide range of global issues in the interest of all humanity.
During their stay in Baku, ministers Bogdanović and Šehović met Honourary Consul of Montenegro in Azerbaijan Vugar Aliyev.
