16 October 2018 - Representatives of fifty-six countries of the world, who will take part in the prestigious Miss Globe 2018 International Beauty Contest in Tirana, visited Ulcinj, Montenegro, on October 15, where they were welcomed by the President of Ulcinj Municipality, Ljoro Nrekić.
Miss Globe is a global beauty pageant group that holds annual events. This contest attracts the intense interest of the international press. It is traditionally held every year since 1925. Because it was originated in 1925, it is considered to be the oldest and longest-established of all beauty contests. It also is the creator of beauty contests businesses and the event that developed the application formats.
At the Miss Globe International Beauty Contest 2018, Montenegro will be represented by the 19-year-old Tijana Ćetkovic from Kotor, a student of Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro. The final evening of this great event will be held in Tirana, Albania.
According to the representatives of Ulcinj Municipality, this visit by the most beautiful women of the world is of great importance in the promotion of Ulcinj’s tourism. The participants have had the opportunity to visit the city and the most attractive parts of Ulcinj. The young women were very excited during their tour throughout the city. They especially liked the beauty of nature in this coastal town.
