Citizens of Herceg Novi and their guests will welcome 2019 with a concert of Belgrade rock band “Riblja čorba”, which will take place on the main town square on 31 December from 9 pm. The night before, on 30 December, Croatian pop singer Jelena Rozga will take the stage, announced the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi.
Yugoslav and Serbian rock / hard rock band “Riblja čorba” was founded four decades ago. The debut album, “Kost u grlu” (Bone in Throat) was released in 1979 and sold 120,000 copies. During their long career, “Riblja čorba” had some of the greatest Yugoslav hits, such as: "Dok hodaš” (When You Walk), “Kad sam bio mlad” (When I Was Young), “Poslednja pesma o tebi” (Last Song About You), "Rekla je” (She said), "Lutka sa naslovne strane” (Puppet on the front page), “Kad padne noć” (When night falls), "Amsterdam, "Nemoj da ideš mojom ulicom" (Do not go to my street), and so on.
The Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi currently participates at the International Tourism Fair in Novi Sad, which started on October 3rd and lasts until October 7th.
The local TO also begins the promotion of its traditional multi-day winter event, the Jubilee 50th Mimosa festival, although the programs are not yet fully defined. It is now known that the manifestation will symbolically last for 50 days, from 1 February to 22 March.
