Eko ZH Association for Development, Environment and Culture from Bosnia and Hercegovina and NGO Our action from Kotor is organizing “Eco Colony 2018 - the exhibition of paintings on the art colony of Blidinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exhibition will be open Saturday, September 15 at 8 PM in the gallery of the Cultural Center "Nikola Đurković" in Kotor, and remains open to the public on weekdays from 7 AM to 3 PM to 21 September. Then it travels to Podgorica where the audience in this city will also have the opportunity to enjoy the artwork of young people.
The exhibition was created within the Eco Colony 2018 project funded through the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO. The project aims to provide young people with opportunities for intercultural learning and skills improvement and to build intercultural dialogue and tolerance in order to reduce hate speech, negative stereotypes in society and prejudice among young people in the region. 40 young people from four countries- Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, participated in the art colony work. In the implementation of the Eco Colony 2018 project, which includes a series of activities at several locations in the mentioned states of the region, it is involved a number of art institutions from these areas: the Academy of Fine Arts of Trebinje, Art Academy Široki Brijeg, Art Academy Banja Luka, Art Academy Sarajevo, Art Academy Rijeka, Art Academy Cetinje, Faculty of Applied Arts Belgrade and Faculty of Arts in Niš.
