The Celebić petrol company was fined 150 euros and a responsible person 20 euros for the landfill of construction waste at the public area in Mahala.
"The company Kalamper and the responsible person have been penalized for unloading waste from the excavation to the public area in Mahala. The supervision body was ordered in a written report and by the decision to remove the deposited land within a day. Due to the deposited waste on Orjenska Street, the contractor Engineering Route and a responsible person in the company were penalized. The same amount was also imposed on the company Majina for waste disposal, as well as for the Aluvent company because of the unloading of construction waste near the container on Lješkopoljska Street. Waste was dumped illegally also by the Spektakular company and they were punished with 150 euros, and another 20 euros for the responsible person. The Presto VIP company was punished with 150 euros, as well as a responsible person with another 20 euros for improperly depositing waste," said the Municipal Inspection. They stated that five misdemeanor orders were issued to citizens who disposed of waste onto the sites which are not envisaged for that purpose.
"The utility inspectorate will continue to be more intensive in the coming period to exercise control as well as to punish perpetrators of these and similar types of offenses. In this way, we will bring the capital or the public area into a neat state and at the same time influence raising awareness of our citizens about the preservation of the environment," the Public Inspectorate points out.
