By the decision of the expert jury, Čilović was awarded equally with Ulvija Mušuvić, a writer from Prijepolje.
The second prize went to Saladin Dino Burdžović for the story "The Same Blood", while the third prize was won by another literary from Berane Ljerka Petković for the story "Green I Love You".
Safet Sijarić won the special prize for the authenticity of the narrative with the story "Igbal and Brez Igbal".
"I look forward to the award that is of particular importance because it comes from my homeland and the festival I'm especially attached to," she says.
Čilović argues that the book can change our experience and shape emotions, and the story "Wounds" is a story about the solitude and the marginalized position of the thinking man.
"Literature is my obsession and I believe that reading experience and great work has shaped me into an author who can free the hand and the mind. I am glad that the Festival of Local Paths has brought together eminent writers and artists and positioned their high activity. Its range is really far-sighted," Čilović said.
38 encrypted manuscripts arrived at the festival, and the jury composed of Zuvdija Hodzic - president, and members Sofija Kalezić and Elvedin Nezirović, had a tough choice. Čilović is, by the way, listed in the Montenegrin poetry anthology as the youngest poet. Her poem collection "Albums for the Outcasts" was released in May and was presented during "Ratković's Evenings of Poetry".
In addition to the "Album for the Outcasts", she wrote two more collections of poetry "Freedom in Letter" and "Breath of Boldness", and her poems have been included in the world anthology of female poetry, which CdM has already written about.
