21 August 2018 - Thanks to the enthusiasts gathered at the Motor Club "MC Cruiser", Herceg Novi will be the host for bikers and motorists from all over the region next weekend. The international motorcycle event, which this club traditionally organizes during the last weekend in August, is on the European calendar of motorcycle events, and an increasing number of guests best say about the popularity of this event.
As in the past few years, members of the Motor Club "MC Cruiser" will organize their seventh motorcycle event on the beach "Ušće" in Igalo on August 24, 25 and August 26, and those who have already come before know that they are expecting relaxed socializing in the home atmosphere and unforgettable time with common bikers, revving of the engines and rich music programme.
In order to welcome guests, members of the club organize numerous preparations as well as cleaning the terrain.
“For our Motorcycle Gathering, year after year there is growing interest and the number of guests arriving from all former Yugoslav republics, but also from the region and Europe, is growing. Some of them arrive a few days before the official opening of the event, and then we start cleaning the terrain and arranging the camp, which is free for bikers. A large number of them, however, choose accommodation in households, apartments and hotels, so the next weekend in this part of the city will be difficult to find a free bed,” said a member of MC Cruiser.
A three-day event that will gather many friends, bikers and moto clubs begins on Friday, and the hosts promised an entertaining programme.
This year, the motorcycle event will mark a good atmosphere, socializing and entertainment on the beach, and the evening is meant for rock'n'roll music which will be played by four great bands. On Friday, the local band "High voltage" will play at 9 PM, and then our old friends - "Krugovi u žitu" from Trebinje. Saturday is reserved for a good atmosphere of the groups "The Great Spirit" from Sremska Mitrovica and " Vesele `80" from Kragujevac. Also, on the second day, the motorcyclists and guests of Herceg Novi will have the opportunity to enjoy the very attractive runway show of the motorcycles from Igalo to Meljine, and upon return, there will be organized biker games on the beach. The entrance is free, and the hosts will welcome the guests along with the fried dough and rakija, but also share the propaganda material of Herceg Novi with them.
Judging by the past motorcycle events organized by "MC Cruiser", when the number of visitors and two-wheelers constantly increased, there is no need to doubt that the upcoming motorcycle gathering will be one of the most massive events in Herceg Novi this summer. This year's event was supported by the Municipality of Herceg Novi and the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi, and among the other sponsors is the Local Community Igalo and Hotel "Play" of the Sports Centre Igalo.
