Visitors at the Independence Square had the opportunity to learn more about technical culture and science, as the organizers prepared several programs that marked the 12th of August, the International Youth Day.
"We organized a similar event for the first time last year in Niksic, and we were very pleased with the attendance, but also the results that have come to fruition. After the event, Radio Nikšić's radio was restored. Also, astronomers had more activities than usual," said Zoran Marsenić from the Alliance for Technical Culture" Politehnika.
Within the event, which lasted until midnight, visitors were able to see the photos made by the “Habl” Space Telescope, as well as through the radio amateur stations to communicate with young people from all over the world within the program. Also, the visitors at the square interested in robotics could learn something about rocket modeling and participate in building a model. Apart from this, numerous experiments in the field of physics and electronics were organized.
The greatest interest among the visitors was to observe the sky with five telescopes placed at the Independence Square. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Sports of Montenegro.
