29 July, 2018 - The film that was made in Montenegro “Ti imaš noć“ (You Have the Night”), with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, the Film Center of Serbia and the Doha Film Institute, the Municipality of Herceg Novi and the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi will get its premiere at Film Festival at Venice.
By this occasion, Minister of Culture of Montenegro, Aleksandar Bogdanović received Ivan Salatić and Dušan Kasalica, director of the film "You have the Night". The meeting was also attended by director of the Film Center Sehad Čekić.
Minister Bogdanović congratulated the authors, saying that this is a great success of the author's team, but also Montenegrin cinema. The Minister also pointed out that in the last several years Montenegrin cinema has become more visible on the world stage, especially since the establishment of the Film Center, which is significant to our authors.
The authors informed the Minister of the planned activities on the promotion and presentation of the film at the Venice Festival and expressed the belief that the film "You Have the Night" will be noticed at the Festival, stressing the satisfaction of the entire team achieved by success.
Minister Bogdanović said that the Ministry of Culture in the upcoming period, as well as so far, supported film producers from Montenegro, emphasizing the special pleasure that this year's film achievements from Montenegro will be presented at numerous world festivals.
The cast in this accomplishment are: Momo Pićurić, Luka Petrone, Ivana Vuković, Jasna Đuričić, Boris Isaković i Marko Štibohar.
Producers of the film "You have the night" are Dušan Kasalica and Jelena Angelovski from the house Meander Film from Montenegro, while the co-producer is coming from Non-Aligned Films of Serbia. The director of photography is Ivan Marković, editor Jelena Maksimović, the design is signed by Dragana Baćović, costume designer Lidija Andrić, sound design by Jakov Munižaba, while the mix of the sound is done by Nikola Medić.
