Besides philosophers and writers, along with the program editor of Pjaca of the philosophers, Srećko Horvat, other great guests will join as well. On the first day, the audience had the opportunity to attend a roundtable where Srećko Horvat gave a lecture on "What if the apocalypse has already happened?"
Wednesday, July 25 is reserved for Boris Buden and the theme "Which is the language of the apocalypse?". On the third day of the festival, Alenka Zupančić speaks on the topic "Apocalypse is disappointing" while on the last day, Frank Bifo Berardia will talk about "The Second Coming".
At the opening of KotorArt Pjaca of the philosophers, apart from Srećko Horvat, the participants of the roundtable are Andrej Niklaidis and Aleksandra Savanović.
"They are bombarding us daily with news of global or local catastrophes, from polluted beaches to piles of plastic that we now even eat on a daily basis. At the same time, there are hundreds of thousands of refugees, wars, ecological disasters ... and the possibility of a nuclear war. However, what if, as paradoxically as it sounds, the Apocalypse has already happened? What if every day, somewhere, if not already in Kotor today, to someone is at "the end of the world"? And what if that very thought allows us to survive the Apocalypse that has already happened? " said Horvat as the topic of this year's roundtable.
The entrance for all programs is free of charge from 8 p.m. at the Pjaca of the cinema. After the lecture, film projections are scheduled on a given theme each day.
