July 10, 2018 - About 20 villagers from Mala Crna Gora and those who originated from this village living in Niksic and Podgorica gathered on Sunday, after an earlier agreed arrangement, and created the first hiking trail that leads from the village towards the Žabljak passable, which after the construction of the highway was out of use.

The action was also attended by individuals from other parts, some of whom showed up for the first time, according to one of the participants Radonja Šipčić.

"There is a re-communication now that has proved to be necessary, particularly in the winter when this is the only safe path to take to avoid an avalanche-like movement and the only trajectory that can bring a motor sack or other means of transport to the village. There are a lot of elderly people in the village, always sick or lacking something. Even a rescue boat can come, as we have expanded the path," says Šipčić, adding that the action was carried out by removing the various shrubs and other vegetation using motors and axes," said Šipčić.

He added that the road was also a hiking trail and that marking tracks will be renewed in the coming period.

This is the third summer that villagers have organized something good for the homeland. Two years ago, villagers cleared the bushes around the local road from Žabljak to Mala Crna Gora for three days to improve the visibility. Last year, also on a Sunday,  they created a functional the road that leads from the village to Škrka.
