As announced by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the expert commission of the Bern and Ramsar Convention, which is in Montenegro from June 12 to 14, is made up of independent expert Goran Gugic, Tobias Salathé- Ramsar Convention and Gianluca Silvestrini - Bern Convention.
Radulovic is pleased that the Ministry, which is led by him, was given the opportunity to host the representatives of the expert mission, and discussed the issues of protection, preservation and the sustainable development of Skadar Lake with the consultants.
“During the visit to our country, members of the expert mission will visit Skadar Lake. They will also address the areas of special interest for conservation, i.e. the potential Emerald and NATURA 2000 areas, where they have also offered technical assistance to Montenegro," the Ministry points out.
Montenegro, as a responsible member of the Bern Convention on the Protection of Wild Species and Natural Habitats, and the Ramsar Convention on wetlands, through the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, accepted the visit of the experts to this site during which they will hold a series of meetings.
As announced, during the visit to Skadar Lake, the expert team will meet with the representatives of the Public Company for National Parks, representatives of the European Union Delegation and the NGO sector.
