May 10, 2018 - The beautiful ambiance of Herceg Novi’s City tavern (“Gradska kafana”) had the honor of hosting the fourth “NTC Wine and Gastronomy Festival” from May 10-11, 2018. Organized by the NTC Company, the festival gathered a large number of exhibitors, domestic and foreign guests, catering and tourism experts, as well as visitors who were curious and eager to taste different wines and gastronomic products that the festival had to offer. Herceg Novi is a Montenegrin city with numerous high-quality events with a long tradition, and the local government hopes that this festival will become a part of their annual offer.
The NTC representatives have proudly announced the participation of renowned European wine and food manufacturers who will ensure that all visitors will be able to taste the best quality products. The impressive offer of the NTC company includes wines from the host country, Montenegro, as well as Italian, French, Croatian, Slovenian, Macedonian, Serbian and Bosnian wines.
The president of the Herceg Novi municipality, Stevan Katić, opened the festival stating that the “NTC Wine and Gastronomy Festival” promotes the city as a tourist center: “Entrepreneurs who constantly improve the quality of their offers are of immense importance for Herceg Novi. As a local government, we are here to provide a more favorable framework for doing business with the responsibilities and vision of the city.”.
The organizers are proud of the fact that the “NTC Wine and Gastronomy Festival” is becoming a tradition. The sales directors of the NTC company, Jovan Mićunović, announced the wide assortment of premium wines: “In addition to the winery "Plantaže", as their host, their wines will be presented by eminent wineries from Serbia, among which are "Pik Oplenac", "Zvonko Bogdan", "Deuric", "Kovačević", "Radovanović" and "Aleksandrovic". The visitors will be able to taste the wines of top European wine houses such as "Cantine di Marzo", "Michele Chiarlo", "Botega", "Castelo Banfi", "Donna Fugata" and "Tommasi" from Italy, but also France from the regions of Bordeaux, Provence, Alsace and Sancerre."
The Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi supported the event, hoping that the festival will positively affect the reputation of the city and improve the tourist and economic offer.
The “NTC Wine and Gastronomy Festival” is open from May 10-11, 2018, from 2 pm – 7 pm.
