Binod Chaudhary, Nepal billionaire, owner and president of the CG Corp Global company, a conglomerate of over a hundred companies, 76 brands and around 10.000 employees, is interested in investing in Montenegro, the government has reported.
Prime Minister Duško Marković met with Chaudhary on Wednesday and used the opportunity to express his satisfaction with the interest of the CG Corp Global owner in Montenegro, introducing this renowned businessman with the successful economy policies of the government, political and economic priorities and favourable investment atmosphere and business stimulants Montenegro has secured for investors.
Chaudhary is the first Nepalese on the Forbes list of billionaires, since 2013, with an estimated wealth of 1.4 billion dollars in 2015. Binod Chaudhary, whose conglomerate is in hotels, food industry, cement production, energy, banking, finances, is interested in certain projects primarily in hotels.
His companies own luxury hotels and resorts in, among other places, Maldives, Bali, Sri Lanka and New York, with a total of 96 destinations in 17 countries, with special interest in opening a luxury wellness and spa center in Montenegro.
Chaudhary rated the business environment in Montenegro is attractive and said his impression of development opportunities in Montenegro is very favourable. The meeting was also attended by Vipin Pangeni, general director of the CG Foods Europe company, Kamal Ahuđa, a businessman who recently bought the motors and tractors industry in Serbia and former Montenegro Prime Minister Igor Lukšić, representative of PricewaterhouseCoopers – the company in a partnership with CG Corp Global.
