21 October 2018 - In the time when everything, including the domestic product, is placed in the context of general globalization, unfortunately, the world has come to a paradox that it is necessary to raise the awareness of the citizens about the need to buy domestic products. Considering that the purchase of domestic products by its nature should mean better, more advanced economic development and increase in the employment rate, this area attracted the attention of the Montenegrin public, which resulted in the organization of the “Best from Montenegro” event.
The Best from Montenegro is a promotional event, designed as a fair, dedicated to the best domestic food producers. Participants at this event are Montenegrin producers of wines, olives and olive oil, honey, prosciutto, milk and dairy products, fruit, medicinal herbs and numerous other organic products.
At this year's fifth event, the Best from Montenegro, which was held from 20th-21st of October, a record number of exhibitors with a diverse offer from all Montenegrin municipalities was recorded. In fact, for the first time since the existence of the event, this year’s fair’s number of booths reached more than 70.
The exhibitors had the opportunity to exhibit their domestic products, present their offer to the visitors and sell products within the largest Montenegrin shopping centre, Delta City Mall. This year’s exhibitors were proud to present all kinds of unique domestic products, such as natural cosmetic products, honey, tea, home-made oil, dairy products, fresh and dried fruit, flowers, alcoholic drinks such as vino and rakija, items created out of wood, medicinal herbs, vegetables and many other different products.
The goal of this event is the national homogenization of the country's strategic economic interests and raising awareness of the values of domestic products.
