The main purpose of the Plan is to present, as announced at the session of the Government, the revision of the current plan document, thus creating formal and designated assumptions for the planned development, organization and arrangement of the Skadar Lake area.
"The plan should define the basic concept of space usage, the ranking of centers and infrastructural equipment that will enable the protection and valorization of the natural resources in the function of sustainable development," it was stated from the Government’s Department for Public Relations.
It is emphasized that the planned linking of the subject space with the centers of the immediate environment has a special significance. The Government said that the Plan contains detailed elaborations for specific zones and locations, which provides the prerequisites for the realization of the investment projects and landscaping on locations that require permanent changes in space. The Public discussion on the Draft Spatial Plan for the special purposes of NP Skadar Lake will last 20 days.
The Government also adopted the Information on the Proposal for an Annex of the Financial Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the European Union on the Yearly Action Plan for Montenegro for 2014 (Goal 1 - Part 1 and Objective 2 - Part 1) and accepted the Appendix.
This Annex concerns the rehabilitation of the Kos-Trebešica railway section, which is funded within the program, whose budget was originally estimated at EUR 4.6 million.
The government announced that the goal of this project is to improve the status of the railway network through rehabilitation of the track in the length of 6.7 kilometers.
"Given that the cost estimate was made on the basis of the documentation from 2009, as well as the unforeseen works on landslide remediation at one part of this trail, there was an increase in the planned budget," the statement said.
It is added that the new budget is higher than the originally planned for 1.04 million euros and amounts to 5.64 million.
"The appendix of the Financial Agreement foresees that the missing funds will be provided by increasing the national co-financing from the Capital budget, in line with the dynamics of the execution of the works," it is explained in the statement.
The Government, in order to implement the new legal regulations in regard to the institution of the President of Montenegro, has established the Amendment to the Draft Law on changes to the Law on the budget for this year. The Report from the Joint Session of the Government of Montenegro and the Republic of Albania in Skadar on July 3rd was approved.
When presenting the report, satisfaction has been expressed with the content and results of the joint session of the two governments and emphasized the importance of such an approach to intensify regional cooperation," the government said.
It is stated that the Government has entrusted the responsible authorities responsible to monitor the implementation of the signed agreements and realization of the tasks defined during the session. The Government adopted a Decision on the Appointment of the Partnership Operations Team for open management, which will be led by the Minister for Public Administration Suzana Pribilović.
