They consider it necessary for the business community to be involved in working on regulations which would set up the business environment, in the phase of its design. At the meeting, chaired by President of the Chamber of Commerce, Vlastimir Golubović, were also representatives of the PKCG and representatives of the Union of Employers, the Association of Montenegrin Managers, the CEO Forum, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and the Council of Foreign Investors.
The participants considered that their business associations are on the same task i.e. the protection of interests for the member companies, and therefore they discussed the modalities of future cooperation which, they suppose, should be adequately structured and with clear priorities.
Golubovic suggested that a coordinating body should be formed including the representatives of all business associations that will consider issues of importance to the economy and articulate the common attitudes of associations towards decision-makers at the state and local level. In order to achieve a more direct dialogue with the legislative and executive authorities, the possibility of organizing a Parliamentary Enterprise in which the representatives of all business associations would participate was considered. "At the meeting, we discussed the work legislation, business environment, dual education, digitization and the gray economy, key issues of the Montenegrin economy, which will be discussed more in future meetings of the association's representatives," said PKCG.
