The Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulovic, said that the area of "Prokletije" was proclaimed a National Park in 2009 and that for the first time, this area has its own spatial planning document that has ensured that the mentioned space is maintained, improved by the standards, and will open up opportunities for traditional crafts and traditional farming as well as the possibility of several potential ski resorts.
"For the first time in a spatial plan of special purpose for the coastal area, we have a drawn coastline of 100 meters. So, the first rule of development is that in the first hundred meters there is no new construction. There is no new planning, therefore no new construction. In the next nine hundred meters, apart from existing settlements, there is no new dwelling. Therefore, we reserved this space for the development of tourism and other complementary branches, " said the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
