He said that they can no longer wait and that the cause for this is precisely ignoring their problems from the competent authorities, especially the local governments. He points out that until now there has been no agreement to form a working group that would deal with the long-standing accumulated problems in taxi transport. In this way, the problems are only getting bigger, and the season is forthcoming with no solution in sight.
"We cannot say that something positive or negative has been done so far, but the reaction is necessary because there are big problems in this industry and this has to be addressed. The prime minister said that a working group would be formed, calling for patience, but the problems are so great that we do not have much patience," Pavlovic said.
The tax administration is obliged by the companies to use the fiscal cash registers, which was done for 12 years, but the Ministry of Finance blocked it for reasons only known to them. He points out that the Ministry of Transport and the Tax Administration have shown correctness in the negotiations. Nevertheless, the branches of tax authorities do not do their jobs properly.
"I have 1,270 euro in taxes, while colleagues in Podgorica or some other towns have 650 euro, and we are taxed the same because we are all marked as a 'lump sum'. Recently, colleagues and I received a fine of 1000 euro because we did not pay an 80-euro tax advance. The worst thing is that those who are stealing from the state for years, by working illegally, are not being punished," said Pavlović.
The problem is evident in the capital also, where companies with more than 50 vehicles have only one employee officially, and that, according to Pavlovic, no one responds to this fact, stating that it is clear that this is millions in tax evasion. He points out that the forged "TX" plates are being issued in the capital and that even the "TXA” plates can be seen on the streets, which is contrary to the valid law.
