June 2, 2018 - Negotiations between the Spanish company and JP Montenegrin Airports have been ongoing for several months.
The negotiations have not been simple, and things are not going smoothly. Therefore, nothing can be said now except that talks are in progress.
There is hope that the negotiations will result in a more favorable outcome.
We remind you that the news about the possible arrival of Vueling in Montenegro was published at the end of February.
Certainly, Barcelona is one of the most important destinations in the world, so it is clear how important it would be for Podgorica and Montenegro to establish this airline.
Montenegrin citizens are, for now, using a Vueling connection with Barcelona with a flight from Dubrovnik.
By establishing a direct line from Podgorica, Montenegro would have the chance to fly to Catalonia at affordable prices.
For now, two low-cost airlines fly from Podgorica - Hungary's WizzAir to Budapest, Munich and Milan, and Ireland's Ryanair to Brussels, Berlin, London, and Stockholm.
