May 26, 2018 - This is stated in the financial report submitted by the company to the Tax Administration office, which means that the total loss of the company, which is majority-owned by Atlas Bank, has reached 1.4 million euro.
According to the report, the property was estimated at EUR 8.9 million, compared to last year's figure of 236,000. According to cadastral records, the beach’s hinterland, which once saw a vacation resort for workers from Kosovo, is mostly registered on "Rekreaturs". The resort has been out of function for a long time and only ruined objects remained, but the construction of a luxurious tourist resort has not yet started in this bay, as designed by the planning documents.
For almost 30 years before the Montenegrin courts, a dispute has been led by the Kosovo Agency for Privatization (KAP) which wants to prove that the company "Rekreatus" from Pristina is the real owner of 33,000 square meters of land, where there used to be a vacation facility for the workers from Kosovo.
The story of Kamenovo began in 1957 when the Committee on Cetinje executed a confiscation of 15,000 square meters of land from the landowners, and a vacation resort was soon built. After the war in Kosovo in 1999, refugees from Kosovo moved into the nearly ruined resort. Several employees of "Rekreaturs" from Pristina moved their headquarters to Budva and registered this attractive complex to this company, which later entered the privatization process. The Basic Court in Kotor issued a provisional measure prohibiting the alienation, disposal, and land burden 15 years ago. Several families allegedly won the dispute, and it is expected that the cadaster would soon register them on the property of their ancestors.
