There are 2.516 guests in hotels and 1603 in the private accommodation while car-camps and hostels are still empty.
The most guests in Herceg Novi are foreigners – 3.720 out of whom two-thirds are staying in hotels.
From year to year, hotel accommodation sees the most guests because there are more hotels and prices vary from 31 to 480 euros for a half-board stay in suite apartments. With the existing hotels Sun Resort Plaza, Park and Delfin in Bijela, Palmon Bay, Light House and Institute in Igalo, Herceg Novi should get another two luxury hotels this season.
After the significant reconstruction of the former hotel Riviera in Njivice, the new complex Ibero Star Herceg Novi in Njivice will welcome its first guests on May 12th. These will be the guests from Austria who will come in groups until the end of this month. The complex Lazure in Meljine, in a renewed Lazareti with 23 rooms, should be opened in the second half of July.
At the beginning of June within SC Igalo, the hotel “Play” will open, i.e. the former “Adria” in Igalo which will, as before, primarily welcome sport teams that will come for training and use the sport fields of the Sport Center Igalo, although there is a possibility it will accommodate individual tourists as well.
The tourist complex Portonovi in Kumbor whose opening has been delayed year after year, according to the information received so far, will remain without guests this summer as well.
Hotel operators in Herceg Novi are optimistic and believe that visits in their objects will be better than the last year.
